Silent Hill: Revelation 3D in theaters this October 26, 2012
In "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D," Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father (Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. On the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.
I believe this has been posted by Mass, but I'm a little in confused right now, it said it was released on 2011 but now in 2012, how does it happened? Can someone tell me, is this film is real?
I saw this poster and it says coming 2011 and now I'm confused myself.
I guess this is the right poster of it, says coming soon.

Obviously that's an old poster. Movie release dates tend to change.

The first film was actually an honest attempt at horror, which is more than I can say for Anderson. And it featured the awesomness that is Sean Bean (Agent 006, the other dude from Troy, Ned Stark, Boromir). I'm actually psyched for this movie.

The movie was okay overall. not too scary. Not too Anderson-ish.

I agree it was a decent watch but I prefer the first film. I don't know why fans of SH games hated the first film, at least it stayed somewhat true to the games. Silent hills intricate and bizarre setting means that you can basically make a storyline about the place no matter what the story is or who the characters are. That's what's good about Silent Hill. Resident Evil on the other hand you have to follow a certain formula, a formula that Anderson poured down the drain then proceeded to do it his way because he thought he knew best .... he was very wrong.
On a side note, how could SH:R have been "Anderson-ish", it wasn't even directed by him. It was Michael J. Bassett that directed this/

I meant the style of film that fucks up the sacred names of certain games.
