Your Opinions on RE5's Versus Mode

But yeah I prefer Mercs over Raid Mode. At least for now. I would probably like Raid mode more if there was more variety with the maps and if there were more recognizable characters. I really wished they somehow made the Mercs 3D characters and skins available in Raid mode. It would have been more fun.

Mercs is still the best mini-game ever in my opinion.

Well, that too lol! But, really though.. Whenever I had my bad days; Versus seemed to take the stress away for some reason. And during that time I finally learned how to do that "auto-rocketlauncher" thing? Instead of sitting there trying to aim at the enemy. Now, if only I could master my quick turns.

There is why it was dissapointing, you thought there were gonna be zombies in there.

I thought Versus blowed. And now, I have Achievements that I will never unlock...after being so proud for getting all 50 or whatever it used to be. Stopping enemies throwing stuff at me with my knife, and now I'm stuck trying to kill 1,000 People in a row or some BS.

Yeah the only one I have is the one where you unlock all of the characters by buying them in the special features menu.

I tried to beat 30 matches of Slayers. Couldn't do it. Too many people rage quitting. Like someone said previously, if the other player quits, you should get the win.

So the Verdict on RE5 Versus Mode? It's garbage. Topic solved.

Indeed.

Although others may like it. Probably people who play with a certain group and decide to only play Slayers and never shoot each other.

I never experienced rage quitting when I was in a match, but the main thing that would make me rage is shotgun and flame grenade spamming.

I really hated the whole flash grenade and magnum combo.

Ooo I hate those flame grenades so much. Don't forget the flame/or flash grenade +Rocket Launcher combo too. Ridiculous, but an effective strategy.

REF should do a Versus tournament just for laughs before RE6 comes out.
