some of you were a litle bit dissapointed with resident evil 5,mostly
because it didnt bring nothing new(camera,angles,no shooting and running e.t.c)
and for some of you it just semed like a copy of resident evil 4,with a couple of changes here and there

in terms of gameplay wich changes would you like to be made?

i would like

-the hability of running and shooting like in mercenaries 3d

-improved graphics in some aspects,mostly the characters

-new mele moves and more options to dodge/control enemies

-a more realistic inventory(like ammo management,gun powders)

-more co-op movements

-more realistic movements(the characters are to stiff in re5)

-more hand to hand combat guns(like knifes,sticks e.t.c)
i would really like a new/more complex way to use the knife

-being able to explore the area a litle bit more(going into certain houses e.t.c)

RE6 will offer most of those listed (not sure about the inventory system though), including moving while shooting (may not be running, but I prefer it walking anyway). So I'm happy with that. I would like a lone wolf option (highly doubt it, but it wouldn't hurt).

Most of the gameplay aspects of RE6 have already been revealed.


These have already been confirmed:

-Walking (not running) while shooting/reloading

-More melee and dodge options and a better cover system

-Refined movement

-Melee weapons


There's more but those were the ones that were mentioned in your post.

One thing I would really like to see is the lone wolf option as well. If not, I hope the CPU has been upgraded big time.


Another thing I'd like to see, although it's not gameplay, I would love to the see the story take a much darker route with its ending. Enough of the sunsets I'd love to see the ending paint a very bleak picture for the future. It could really open up some interesting scenarios for future games of the series and avoid a reboot (which I hate the thought of).

They did say they have made the AI more responsive according to the feedback they got from 5.

We'll just have to wait and see how that actually works out.

A dark ending could also be a good lead in and cliff hanger to RE7

I think they should get rid of the paradigm shift system and get back to the turn base system........wait I got the wrong topic.....


@Mass: most of the moves you listed were in ORC, they weren't that important...but maybe because of the game itself, melee was uselesss against the spec ops for example if you engage in melee combat with one of them the other 20 will shoot the fuck out of you

I want other characters get back on the scene. Wtf. I want the old RE it's okay to put some action but I want it more horrific like before. I want the old game system but ofcourse the graphics looks tight and it's fine.

Let's go back to upgrading weapons by finding parts during gameplay please. Or at least buy them from a physical character during the game like the merchant.

I know him turning up randomly seemed unrealistic as well but less than the magic shop in RE5.

The magic 'shop' in between stages on RE5 was far too unrealistic for RE game.

Sense of slowness in a walk or run. I think that really makes people scared since you're
running from something BUT you FEEL slow. I just woke up so, sorry if it sounds loony.

Like RE5, I liked that inventory because you had to run ahead to
a safe spot and do whatever you had to.

It has an essence of 'hurry the eff up or dieeee. rawwrr'

What about the RE4 inventory but without the game pausing.

Organizing RE5's inventory was a pain in the ass.

i dont think it was,the inventory in re5
was really easy and simple to organize
way easier and less complicated,and also more realistic then resident evil 4

but afcourse re4 inventory was a litle bit more fun,but not more realistic
and i think that inventory sistem in re6 would suck imo

RE4 Inventory doesn't look bad.

I loved how you had to be quick in RE5 though. Inventory-wise.
Whenever I go up a ladder, I take a quick combine of the handgun ammo
and the handgun with the square button. *click* Urghhh so cool.

That's why I said "without the game pausing". Combine the best of both and you have the best inventory.

there is always gona be people that prefere the re4 inventory
and other people that like re5 inventory better,i liked
re5 inventory more,because it was more simple

you had 9 slots,you could carry x ammount of guns
and x ammount ammo,it was way more simpler
then tryng to organize space in re4

besides that,it was more intense to have to organize
your things in the heat of a battle

anyway,a way or another there is an yotube video when they show
the inventory,but it doesnt look like the inventory in re4 or re5,it looks
100% new,i will try to find the video
