Pretty much all sad vg moments/scenes I have seen are from Silent Hills and Final Fantasies. Can't remember any from RE games.

When nemesis kills me over and over in ORC. Seriously, he is a bitch. Not to mention spec ops who join the party. ORC is some serious shit.

I guess I'll jump on the bandwagon - Steve's death. Especially in DSC.

There isn't very many "sad" moments in RE though. It's mostly tragedies, like someone going over the edge and infecting themselves with a virus/parasite (Irving), or the leader of Veltro.

Run across to the other side, you can shoot headshots over boxes without being hit by his machine gun.
After enough damage he moves to the other side, shoot that one barrel he passes for some grand damage.
Run down the stairs from where you entered the area and go grab 2 grenades from the right side.
Run back to bottom of stairs and camp behind knapsack, where you can also find first aid spray.
Shoot, hide, shoot hide, gratz, you just completed it on professional.

When Chris confronts Jill in the temple right before the fight with Wesker. Very powerful stuff.
