Does anyone here care about Josh Stone?

All of the classic characters have been talked about on this forum a great deal understandably, and there has been much debate over whehter or not Sheva was a good addition. But no one ever talks about Josh? Personally, I think he's a badass. He never brags or makes memorable lines or is armed with ridiculous weaponry, he's just an average soldier that gets the job done when it needs to be. I would really like to see more of him in the future.

The only thing I say about him is that I think he was meant to be a villain. Just watch him during RE5 cutscenes. On my first playthrough, I was literally waiting for him to turn on me. He's a shady one.

I do like Josh but throughout the whole resi 5 game i thought that he would turn on chris and sheva, i that he was going to turn out to be a villian. although i still do like him.
I actually think that it would have been better if he did turn into a villian.

I would of liked to care, cause he was a decent character but, I feel no connection towards him. Also, I recognise Sheva as a good addition. She's not as bad as people say.

I thought he was really cool.

I liked his encounter with chris and sheva. Where he had to get the elevator working.

And as MMash mentioned, he didnt need no fancy shizzles.

Josh was a cool character. If there ever is anything Africa related in RE (not necessarily the setting) I'm sure Josh will be seen.

Hell, what if Nite and WESKER are right and he actually turned on BSAA? Not that I'd like that kind of twist now that we already have Jessica.

I guess I'm the only one so far in this thread who thought he'd be the token black guy who'd die in RE5.

I suppose RE5 didn't have enough of a horror theme to play out this old horror movie cliche.

I agree that I thought he was gonna go bad. His explanation in the factory about how he arrived there was so bullshit (kinda like Barry's "I, uh, had to check on something"), that I thought for sure he was in league with the bad guys. Glad he wasn't, though.

He was the one who rescued Chris and Sheva. How can I forget him? But honestly, I do forget him a lot lol

I actually thought he was going to turn evil as well. But he didn't, and now I can say that I'm 100% sure he isn't a bad guy.

I thought he was a pretty decent character, though could have used a bit more development. Even so, He's prob the best new character in Resi 5 imo, although that's not saying much, since the only other notable new characters were Excella and Sheva.
