I too always thought a lot of the hate from the movies mostly came from Alice. I agree the RE1 one wasn't too bad, after the new RE games doing flip kicks and snapping 10 zombie necks back to back seems rather natural. But like someone said before you'd probably have to include the other versions too, and telepathic powers would be severely hitting the tolerance limit.

If they introduce a character that goes by the name of 'Alice' I won't so much as stop playing the series but I will be disappointed and rather upset. I mean what would the point of that even be? There are so many people that despise those movies in the first place. Is she on crack or something? Imagine how downhill CAPCOM would go if they did that. Those 12 inch action figure dolls they made of her from Afterlife hardly sold in comparison to the 12 inch figures of Sheva Alomar from RE5. Now that is saying something!

Those movies, including her, would be nothing without the games. They wouldn't even exist. Putting 'Alice' in a game would be a horrible nightmare. No 'costumes' no 'cameos' no nothing for her in a single game. I don't even care if it's a spinoff game. I don't even want her as a VA for a new character just so she can get in on the games.

I don't care at all for the character that is 'Alice'. She became this over the top, overly powerful, practically unstoppable Tyrant with a cross between link between just about each and every virus Umbrella made with anti-virus included. She's like those horrible Mary-Sues you try to avoid in an RP.

While that is true, CAPCOM also keeps adding new characters. I think she sees a way in and is aiming for it. Hopefully someone slams that door in her face before even her foot can make it in.
