Underrated/Overrated

Which game is the most underrated and overrated RE game in your opinion?

And what are the most underrated and overrated RE characters in your opinion?

For me
Underrated game: Code Veronica
Overrated game: RE4 (not by fans)
Underrated character: Carlos
Overrated character: Leon (still like him though)

Underrated game: SURVIVOR!!!
Overrated game: RE5 (sorry, I have to pick one)
Underrated character: Krauser
Overrated character: I really don't know, Leon is my favorite characerter, but I admit he is being overused

Samson already went with Survivor which would've been my pick but I want to throw in something different...

Underrated game: Gaiden
Overrated game: REmake (sorry all REmake fans, don't hate on my opinion too much)
Underrated character: Ark
Overrated character: Here I really can't say anything but Leon. He's still one of my favorites, though.

I thought the same before I played it, but it is an awesome game, it really improves the original (yes, I am aware that you don't plan to get a gamecube/wii, )

A cross platform release maybe would change my mind

Even a 3DS release. Something along the lines of Deadly Silence II.

You should definitely play it one way or another. It is the original but improved in every single way (except for nostalgia and classicness). For me it's the perfect RE game.

I'm watching a REmake Let's Play right now. Digging every second of it.

I'm going to watch my friend play it soon. He hasn't played a RE game before so it's gonna be a lot of fun.

I'm going to try to not spoil anything from the game so he can have a heart attack just like I had when I encountered a crimson head or lisa trevor.

Underrated game: Dead Aim. Its a decent game for 2003 PS2, Has a great storyline,characters,enemies and I get really annoyed when people say its the worst RE game when its obviously Survivor 2.

Overrated game: RE4 but its still a brillant game.

Underrated character: Agree with Carlos. Such a cool character and I would love it if he got a spin off game as the lead character.

Overrated character: Leon because the fanboys think he is the best thing since sliced bread. Leon is great but he is no Chris.

Most overrated character - LEON FOR SURE!!!!!

I know my choices are a lot like Mass's but that's because we think the same way.

Underrated:Outbreak File #2 (Capcom ruined this series when they decided to cash out and try releasing the scenarios as seprate games instead of releasing them all in one game.)
Overrated: Code Veronica
Underated: I don't know...Carlos I guess
Overrated: Wesker

Underrated: Maybe the Outbreaks...

Overrated: How bout the Original RE's. Ha ha, or RE4. Actually RE4 and the Original RE's, those are all overrated.

Underrated: I always thought Chris might've been underrated. I mean he's got a following now, especially since RE5, but still. That's kinda something I always liked about him. He was a cool character, but not ridiculously overrated or anything.

Overrated: Wesker fo sho. Especially since they jacked his character up after Waugh's last role in RE4, starting with UC, through RE5 and DSC, thanks to Capcom and DC Douglas. Mister two initials and a last name jackass.

Otherwise obviously Leon, but I feel like that's died down a good deal.
