Odd things you realize in Resident Evil

Just things that seem... odd.

I think it's odd that if Jill or Rebecca didn't know how to play the piano, everyone would have been screwed.

I find it weird that everyone knows when a key is no longer needed.

That there are zombies lol

The design for the Racoon City Police Station would never have been approved in real life. It is way too lavish, impractical, and in blatant violation of ADA standards.

Also, the church in RE3 is about 10% church, 90% mansion.

The Spencer Mansion didn't have a master bedroom. What mansion doesn't have a master bedroom?

That crude, flimsy barricades are unable to hold back even the weakest of monsters, but any and every living being will be inexplicably incapable of getting past them regardless of what they do.

That is so true. If I ever was in such a situation and happened to find a key I would hold on to it with dear life.

Unless the city was really strapped for cash, such a decision would never have been made. Police stations are meant to be highly pratical buildings; generally ugly, but made so that everything that needs to be accessible is accessible and everything that needs to be secured is locked down tight.

Also, there is no way that a city government would have allowed Chief Irons to use a massive room of the station to house his personal library. He would have been fired very quickly.

I'm pretty sure Umbrella had their hands on the whole thing. They pretty much ran the city.

What about Barry taking 3 shots to down a zombie with his .357 and yet it still gets up and walks away. Which brings me to another strange thing; the zombie closed the door behind him.

I actually found it strange that so few enemies chased you through doors. I mean, something like a licker could easily have ripped through them.

The only enemy I can think of that does that is Nemesis. I really wish at least some enemies did that. It would ad quite a lot of suspense.

better put the kids to bed early, that zombie dont mess around.

I was reading somewhere that apparently the ammo Barry used in his magnum was not as strong as the ammo you find in the game which kills zombies in 1 shot. Don't know enough about guns to understand if this is even possible or makes sense but that was the explanation I read for why it took 3 shots to kill that that zombie.

I like to think it was more due to it being his first encounter with the living dead. Barry was aiming for the chest rather than using a headshot to decapitate it with one bullet.

I find it strange that the notes left by Luis, Bitorez Mendes, Salazar, Saddler, etc. are all written in English rather than Spanish.

But I'm still hung up on that zombie closing the door behind him
