Resident Evil 0 1 1RE 2 3 & CV difficulty settings

Really easy question for those who have played.

What difficulty settings are available in the AMERICAN version of Resident evil 1, 1 GC Remake, 2, 3, & Code Veronica? And what versions allow unlimited Ribbons and ammo?

For example in the Dreamcast version of RE2, If I remember correctly Easy mode allows unlimited ribbons & ammo.

If difficulties vary depending on console please post what one you are referring to. Thanks!

UPDATING BELOW WITH CURRENT STATUS

RE1: Easy (jill) Chris (hard) - Zombies don't come back to life
REmake (GC): Easy (hiking), Normal (Mountain climbing), & Hard (Unlocked after beating the game) - Zombies come back to life
RE2 (Ports after PS1): Easy & Normal - Zombies don't come back to life - Unlimited Ribbons & Ammo on Easy
RE3: Easy & Hard - Zombies don't come back to life - Unlimited Ribbons on Easy
RE0: Easy, Normal, & Hard - Zombies don't come back to life
RECV: Normal - Zombies don't come back to life

STILL LOOKING FOR INFO ON RIBBONS & AMMO

On easy mode on RE3, it had unlimited Ink Ribbons, and a bunch of guns and ammo in the inventory box.

RECV: Honestly not sure im still in the process of beating the game only got it on xbox not long ago....but Its either the one or you unlock a hard mode as well but idk lol

Some versions of RE2 had a hard mode too. Those version were the PC and Dreamcast versions. Furthermore the original RE2 on PS only had normal, easy mode was added in later ports/rereleases. Not sure about the N64 version, though.

The REmake had options to make the game even harder, namely Real Survival Mode, One Dangerous Zombie Mode and Invisible Enemy Mode.

Additionally you can add harder difficulties via mods on the PC versions of the games.

I think the easy mode on that is the same as with the original release: Jill = Easy, Chris = Hard.

Well, the part with the infinite ammo and ribbons is yet to be answered.

I can say for sure that in RE1 (the original) there isn't. Don't really know about the rest, I never play on the easiest difficulties.

Well I can answer That since I played every easy mode in RE otg, lol. No there is not infinite ammo and ribbions in every RE on easy, infact I never knew there was such a thing on any easy mode

The unlimited ammo thing is pretty much something you have to get by beating the living crap out of the games.

Not sure about the ribbons though... Is there no infinite saves in any RE game on easy difficulties?

Im aware of the infinte ammo but I meant like does that exsist From the get go?

The guy does mention they're present in the Dreamcast version of RE2. Gotta try to get a confirmation to that...

I could have sworn that in the dreamcast version of RE2, the easiest mode had unlimited ammo & ribbons. As well as zombies NOT coming back to life after being killed once. I just wanted to know if any of the other games were the same.

My reason for asking is that after a google search I could not find this question answered and I love the story in the resident evil games but hate being restricted by a lack of ammo or ribbons. RE2 is the only one I have beaten but I wanted to see what other games in the series I may want to try next.

The only game where the zombies come back to life is the REmake.

The ammo is pretty plentiful in the games when you conserve it. There might be cheats that enable infinite everything, though.

Also from another Wiki learned this about the ribbons. "If Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is played on Easy mode, you can get an unlimited amount, and the ink is blue while in Hard mode the ink is white."

So it seems RE3 is the same as RE2 is on the dreamcast.

Anyone else have knowledge on what other versions of the games allow this? Basically I just want to put together a list.
