I'd say the problem is less about consumerism and more about stupidity. These are no-doubt the same people who watch Jersey Shore and reality TV. These people are a drain on society and on the state, and must be eliminated.

There is nothing more annoying than a woman who is screaming in the middle of the night. God damn it. Its already 2:30 am!

-People who force their religion on me. I believe we are all atheist, I just believe in one less god than them. There are plenty of gods that Christians don't believe in and they don't like people trying to get them to believe in them, so why do they try to force me to believe in theirs.
-When old people scream at me because they ordered the wrong thing. I'm just doing my job. Don't take it out on me that you ordered the wrong kind of burger.
-Some of the people I work with.
