I've been playing with quite a few noobs too. People that can't keep the damn combo going, very annoying, so we get these mediocre scores. Or people that just plain suck, and obviously don't know what they are doing, which is confusing, cuz they have the alt attire for their character, so clearly an A or S had to've been made. IDK.

Oh, I've actually played with some really good people too, and we see eachother around their sometimes. One user called, LA X(Who seems to use various characters), another was Laura(Played as Claire), Yoshi(Who always plays as stripperific Jill, which I wouldn't ordinarilly play with, but since I always use BSAA I figured it'd be fine in this case) and a few others. Just thought I'd give them some love with a shoutout here on REF!

Okay so who else abuses the spinning blades in the Catacombs? In Onslaught, of course.

It's a DLC map.

I actually find RE5 mercenaries to be much better than RE6 mercenaries. RE5 had more maps, and characters, excluding the DLC, which I never got.

RE6 on the other hand, only has like 4 or 5 with like three maps.

RE6 actually has more characters than the regular RE5 Mercs. There's like... 9 or 10 characters in total after you unlock them all, plus their alternate costumes. No DLC included. There being only 3 maps without the DLC is a bit of a bummer. Still, it's only like 95 cents a map.

In the end, I still do prefer RE5 Mercs, especially Reunion.

RE6 plays better, which is what makes it better IMO.

RE5 had more stuff, like more levels, and more enemies. I also liked the boss enemies; Executioner, chainsaw Majini, Reapers, etc.

RE5's split screen was certainly better, because it allowed you to change it so that you could play with a full half screen.

But in RE6 Mercs, pretty much every character is just as useful as the other, with most each character having distinguishing characteristics, Chris' knife, Jake's hand-to-hand, Leon's duel-wielding, etc. In RE5 Mercs, everybody seems to whore out Midnight and STARS Wesker. And certain characters like BSAA Chris and Sheva kinda suck in comparision, with their melee's and weapons not matching up, so it's kind of understandable.

Absolutely not. I just mentioned the maps because it was pretty lame to have only three to begin with. I just like RE5 mercs overall better.

The only thing I don't like about RE4 is trying to get a good score on Waterworld with Leon. I swear Super Salavador has the most inconsistent health bar.

I've come up with many strategies with taking him out fast with Leon, but none of them are full-proof and they barely work half the time. Anyone have a good strategy?

I've done pretty well just throwing grenades at him, using the barrels and then finishing with the shotgun. Haven't really had a problem with him after playing the level for so many times.

It does get tough when there's more than one of him at the same time in Mercenaries 3D.
