Yeah I suppose in a way it kind of is although the RE style survival horror games will always be the scariest type's of games in my books but I suppose thats a generation of gaming that wont be around again but I can cross my fingers and pray that one day we will be blessed with such gaming style's once again |

| Why leave it at just that era? I've played so many awesome horror games and series to this day...
Here's a nifty little list: ♠Silent Hill ♠Siren series ♠Doom ♠Chzo Mythos ♠Sweet Home ♠Castlevania ♠Shadow of the Beast
The last two were horror platformers but people should always remember what horror they brought to us in the 90s. btw. R* North is awesome. |

| I must add Penumbra to my list. I've only played the tech demo but the game seems amazing AND it's the previous game from the creators of Amnesia!
I'm reposting this because I just got into another horror game series called Corpse Party. The game seems rather interesting with it's 2D graphics. Right now I'm playing Corpse Party: Blood Covered, the second remake/port of the game made for PSP. No, I still don't have PSP. Go figure.
I actually might LP these at some point. |
