Resident Evil: Cold Blood

Resident Evil Cold Blood is a half-life mod inspired by RESIDENT EVIL OUTBREAK. It is a 1st person shooter with charactor selection, each charactor having his owns special items and different health and speeds. Your goal is to escape on each level much like outbreak. The game is very challenging and fun. The game has a huge variety of weapons, ironsights, all the types of herbs (accept yellow because that's re4 only type herb) It has many different enemies from zombies-Mr. X. It's a very good coop experience that any resident evil fan should have a try. Beta3 is coming out soon which will have re1 type inventory, and hardly any lag. I don't know all the improvements in the new beta3 but it will be amazing with the new animators and team that has joined.

I try to stay away from outbreak related RE games but this does look like something I will download later on...looks cool

I saw this ages ago. It looked AWESOME. I knew I should have bought Half Life 2 on PC instead of X-Box. Ah well.

Resident Evil Cold Blood is an alright mod for sure. The only gripe I have against it is the repeditive nature of it all, and the fact that there's barely any maps.

CB needs more models if you ask me

Well... One of my friends released a pack that replaced all the characters with actual RE characters.

It was exclusive to this one forum, and you had to be a member of a clan to get it. Well... I'm not really in that clan anymore, and I don't really care about RECB so whatever.

I watched some vids on Youtube, seems a little fast paced for RE. Are there any puzzles or anything?

there are plenty, that's where the co-op comes in.

It basically plays like a Half Life styled Resident Evil. You have the HL style shooting, and the Resident Evil puzzles, keys, and all that fun stuff.

I'll download it for sure, I want to try it

oh yeah and about the game,theres plenty of puzzles and items u have to find....but very few ammo(for many weapons)
each character got his cons and pros(ex:can use sprays but cant use medicine herbs,stronger with pistols,etc...,)and each one usually start with a different inventory on wich character you choosed,and everyone(or almost) has an unique ability or item that the team might need in the mission.

about enemies theres everything from RE1 and RE2(not everything from re2)

thats all for the firearms but i might forget few of em...
but theres also many melee weapons:

Your Flashlight(but keep it using for lightning dark places is better...)
and thats all but i can also forget few of them,as i dont use them so much.

Theres a last thing to know:theres also a PVP(player vs player..)mode,wich one is a crimson heads(with about 1000hp of life,and 10 times fast than humans)whos alone agaisnt all the players,hes goal is to kill everyone(he got 4 lifes) as they hide or regroup in the map(same maps as classic mode).

and well about a dedicated server,there used be one (of our clan...)Leon scott kennedy,our leader,was running it,but now theres no more or only very few players playing it,he stopped running it,i guess he might be able to get it back uprunning if more players comes to the mod(but sometimes he still running it,and theres also few servers online sometimes,but not 24/7 like we used to).

You can try setting up server... You can use xtreemhost, free hosting and use the ftp to setup server...

Uptime is great, and tools are great too
