| After playing almost all of the RE games I have noticed one common thing about them: never bet on the chopper. They usually seem to either abandon you or just get destroyed. This happens in almost every game and it propably happens in 6 too.
In RE0 the team's chopper malfunctions and plummets to earth. In RE1, Brad decides to abandon everyone and fly away. Once you see a helicopter in RE2 some guy on a roof accidentally shoots it down while getting mauled by zombies. In RE3 Nemesis shoots one down. Mike in RE4? Let's not even talk about him. In RE5 the little bat things attack the chopper early in the game and you can hear it going down. Desperate Escape ends with the helicopter pilot getting shot by a missile. Survivor BEGINS with a helicopter crash!
I have yet to play through both the Outbreaks and I've never played CV so I'm not sure about them. All of the main games at least seem to have this trait.

Because that ain't Hollywood man.... Gotta have explosions to spice things up a bit. If they stayed on the ground we would just see more cars explode. |

| Ha, they should make an in-game joke, a nod to the fact that chopper's in RE equel death. Just a really self aware comment from one of the characters. |

| In Resident Evil games that seems to be the better idea. At least you won't plummet to horrible fiery death. |

Yeah, I tried that once, and died....and I hadn't saved since the spot where you escape via the train thing, with Carlos and Mikhail, since Nemesis has a knack for instant kills with that pick you up by the throat move. I was trying to get an A by the way, that's why almost no saves. Anyway, I returned fire once, and got owned, and never tried it again. I'm fine talking to Nicholai instead, since it's canon afterall. |

I got an A, once. Almost no saves, I think I avoided using any First Aid Sprays(which you had to do in RE2 to get an A, figured that carried over), oh and the infinite ammo for the M4 that I earned in Mercs helped too. |

| Wonder if hitting "time" directly leads to bad luck for choppers in mercenaries. Josh and Jill just happen to fly themselves into mountains and forget where "public assembly" is cause Chris punched a glowing hour glass. |

That's because RE3 Mercs is just like those Battle Games from RE2 & CVX essentially. I guess it's like the modern day Mercs, in that killing enemies can give you time, racking up combos gives you more time, etc, etc. |
