Well, I read in an Interview once that Takeuchi wanted RE6 to "Revolutionize the series like RE4 did" and we all know that RE4 created a new gameplay style.

Dude...A canon RE from the main storyline as a RTS game? That's ridiculous. RE is not RTS. It is survival horror. It's loosely survival horror, but it is survival horror nonetheless. RTS games can rarely even hold a storyline down, let alone have a main character to drive that storyline. I just can't believe that you are serious. I mean...dear God almighty! Respect minus.

I don't think it's that they actually REMAKE everything, just updates. like better graphics and maybe a couple special features, and more mini games or something like.

i do agree though, that remaking the whole series would be a fluke. that'd be the biggest waste of time.

A reboot is when they change the formula for the series. Like when they went from RE3 to RE4. At least, that's how Capcom has been talking. I just hope they don't erase everything and start from scratch. That's an extreme and unneeded form of reboot.

i got an idear! this may have been said before and its probably terrible but... and fps-type (penumbra style) survival horror. you can throw boxes!

FPS and survival horror don't go well together. It'd be too much action and RE is already too much action.

I'm tired of the over the shoulder thing already. i could take maybe one more game, and i know it's capcom's new little baby, but they should bring back all the multiple camera angles and prerendered backgrounds that looked SO awesome

I don't mind the over the shoulder style but the old style is classic. Too many new kids these days that can't handle that kind of gameplay. Damn twitchers...
