Resident Evil 4 rumour

I've heard rumours there going to remake resident evil 4? Would be in HD?

If they did remake it maybe Wesker could make an apperence from behind the scenes!

I can tell you right now that it won't happen for a loooong time. It would be the dumbest thing ever. There is absolutely no need to remake it. No one should even want it remade. Come on people, let's focus on new IP's and original concepts.

RE4 doesn't need a remake this soon (or ever for that matter), as there really wouldn't be much (if any at all) improvement in it. If you want to add more stuff to it, buy the PC version and DL all the mods for it.

I agree with Nite that they need to focus on new stuff or, if they're intent on remaking an RE game, give RE2 & 3 the remakes they deserve. Heck, remake Dino Crisis. That was an awesome game.

Alpha means beginning. So no, it doesn't fit and I fail. Beta means end. Hence the alphabet. "Alpha-Beta", beginning to end. A to Z.

They haven't officially announced an actual reboot. So far they have only said that RE6 will "probably" reinvent the series like RE4 did. A reboot is usually classified by a total shift in story and characters.

Dino Crisis is an old series of survival horror games with dinosaurs. Seems cool, but I never got into them.

Right now, i am typing up how the RE2 remake should be.

Why..the FUCK would Capcom Remake RE:4, WHICH HAS ONLY BEEN OUT FOR 5 YEARS when they havn't even Remade RE:2: THE BEST GAME EVER. Which has been out for 11 years

Don't know about a remake, but they did port RE4 to the iPhone.

RE4 just come out not that long ago. It shouldn't be remade yet. lol

He means RE6, as stated in a previous interview, Jun Takeuchi said he wanted to reinvent the series, Rebooting can be a synonym for that too. He probably means that RE6 will completely renew the series.

Then it could be something as simple as another RE4. I just don't see a need to finish off the RE story or characters, as many of them still have unfinished business.
