Dude i'm digging the new look! Kind of reminds me of original Chris. Not too roided up, and his face isn't all smooshy looking and intense like with RE5 and on.

I don't know why but even his face looks completely different from what he's always looked like.
Leon looks okay but it almost looks like he's wearing eye shadow, though I think that is probably because of the lighting.

Yup there's that smoosh face lol. Looks like he's dropping a deuce. I never cared for that look. New one is very classic Chris.

He still had his facial features from how he used to look.
Now his whole face and especially his jaw seems thinner, but what most sticks out to me is that his cheeks are completely different from how Chris actually looks. This new look almost looks like some foreign actor. It looks like Wentworth Miller's Chris if he was European or something.
I don't mind slight look changes but to me this is Operation Raccoon City levels of characters not looking like themselves. Probably not as bad as Jill but pretty much just as bad as Carlos.
I actually showed my friend (with whom I've played most of the games through) the new trailer and he didn't even know that was Chris. Hell, I probably wouldn't have known had I not been given the information beforehand.

It hasn't really been that many years since RE6. Up until then he still had the most prominent facial features all the way from the original. In the HD remake you could tell it was still the same person when you looked at the original Chris skin and the RE5 skin you could use. I just can't get over the fact that he looks so different. The movie might be good (I'm sure it is) but if this is how he'll look it'll be a pet peeve of mine.

I read somewhere that women age more gradually and men more abruptly. I'm sticking to that!

I don't think Wesker is coming back, I don't think even he could come back from a BBQ

Great...don't tell me that this is some bs about cloning. We don't need that from the Live action movies!

Not all remember but in JP version of RE Rev 2 there been hints that Alex Wesker possibly cloned Albert Wesker, well what would do to this movie if that been true then well we have clone as viliain of movie. Well thats all from my offtopic, i will not post anything like this again.

This is completely new to me. Where does it say something like that? I'm just assuming from the way you said it's in the JP version that whatever it was was lost in translation.
Would be weird for them to do cloning of any sorts, as the team who worked on RE6 were strictly told they can't do cloning in the series when they wanted to make Carla an actual clone of Ada.
Btw. Certain amounts of off topic is fine when it actually ties to whatever's at hand

Yes thats true since mostly what has JP version of RE Rev 2 even texts in Raid mode has been either censored or deleted in ENG translation well :
There are significant hints in REV2 that Alex may have cloned Albert in some way.
She refers to him as Gregor and likens herself to Greta, blaming herself for his death because she felt she abandoned him, as Greta abandoned Gregor. She resolves to not do this, but at first glance it appears there's no way she can't not do it since it already happened and he's dead.
However, RAID Mode's system messages mention the "Gregor Project", and the machine refers to the test subject as Gregor. The English version removes these references completely. Then in one of the files, she says that she will not abandon him and will "share in my true brother's destiny."
Additionally, the story in REV2's RAID mode features an unknown character Alex is attached to just as much as she was to Albert. That's cause for alarm, particularly when she talks about a project with her nickname for him and is training "Gregor" presumably after her death as the messages are actually the Red Queen Alpha vocalizing. The English version replaces all of this with some twisted mental SAW experiment. - this propably will be spoiler but i have some JP friends and they given me transcript what is in JP version and i had somewhere translation of full text and really whole matter is different in their games.

That's actually some really interesting information. Is there any possibility you could make a thread sharing the translation?
To be honest I still don't think (or I don't want to think) that it'd actually be Albert she'd be reviving, but in a sense she's trying to continue the Wesker legacy by creating yet another "Wesker Child". Maybe she's even trying to make the same thing happen as what she was trying to do to herself, to somehow implant her will to another person. Maybe this "Gregor" was to be implanted with Albert's will or something like that. I really need to go and play more Raid to unlock all the (apparently flawed) dialogue.

After reading my comments days later... i'm jaded af lol. I need to work on that. I guess it's just the salt still festering in the wound that was TGS. That and spending too much time reading negative bs from people in my comment section about RE7.
