re 7 ideas

Although re6 is good its not exactley out of this world is it?

How do you think capcom could redeem themselves for resident evil 7? Maybe they should learn a lessen from re5 and re6 and focus re7 purely on survival horror and ditch the gears of war persona. Perhaps they could get a lot of there influence for re7 from silent hill.

If you want that you can just play REmake or the original again. Stop living in the past Jamesy lol. Anyway a mansion would be too small a setting for a full game.

What I would really like or more like if I were in control of RE7
(No harsh judging please.) Just my opinions and ideas.

Partners: Chris and Sherry, (Yes, I think they would be an awesome team.)
Billy and Rebecca,
Leon and Claire,
Carlos and Jill,

I kind of liked the choice of the campaigns in RE6. I think they could make them longer in RE7 if they go that route again.
Which I wouldn't mind.

The campaigns would have longer crossovers.
And even in a couple of the campaigns you would which partners for a short time.

So, four different longer campaigns.
All of them having a bit more horror.

Zombies popping up without warning would happen a lot.

So one or more of the campaigns could have a very dark twisted place involved in it,
Kind of like RE:CV.

Game play style: a mix of RE4, RE5, and RE6 all in one. I really liked being able to fight things off and not just shooting them in RE6.

45 hours or more of game-play (that is including all the campaigns.)

10+ hours have cut-scenes (that also includes all the campaigns.)

The Mercenaries returns with more stage choices.
With unlockable past places from the RE series; Such as The arklay Mansion, the police station (RE2, RE3,) etc.
and unlockable costumes. Tofu will be an unlocked 'character' just for laughs.

Upgrading your guns would be possible as would upgrading your skills.

Co-op and split (2 players) would have have a bigger picture that fits the screen, unlike RE6.

Short back-stories of what happened with Rebecca, Billy and Carlos.
Also a mention or two of Barry Burton and his family.

Villain ideas:
Alex Wesker (Best choice)

Spoiler:

New character or characters,
I like the Alex Wesker idea the best, so I will go with that.

Monsters:
Zombies similar to the ones in RE6.
Updated advanced Lickers,
Updated advanced Hunters,
Nemesis/Tyrant, (Not really nemesis, but very similar, but it would be after the BSAA and even stronger then Nemesis was.

Alex Wesker will be involved with Neo-Umbrella or maybe even the founder of it.

Alex Wesker will have amnesiac and powerful (because of the Veronica-Virus) Steve Burnside as his right hand man.)

Alex would view himself as better than Albert Wesker ever was and think of Albert as a failure and he would indeed be much darker and heartless than Albert.

Alew would look very much like Albert.

Alex wants to capture Sherry for samples of the G-Virus.
He would also have Manuela Hidalgo from RE: Darkside Chronicles captive.

(This is in working progress, and yes I know, I'm a nerd.) lol

Have to agree with Wesker about the mansion, but I'm not saying that that's a bad idea either. I made a thread on my thoughts of this subject.

Personally id like it to be on an island, like CV but bigger with little population and little amount of ammo

I actually want to see more of Jake and Sherry. They make a great duo.

In fact, I almost wish the entirety of RE6 centered around Jake and Sherry's story. They could be like the next major RE team alongside Chris and Jill and Leon and Claire.

Do you think that re6 requires redemption? They did a great job on both horror, survival, and action in Re6.

I wouldnt mind re7 being purely survival/horror though. I kinda hope the controls stay the same, but the RE controls. That means holding R and using the left stick to aim, while pressing a face button to shoot, like its always been.

BTW this makes shhotingnfrom cover like impossible, but idc, Id rather stay true to RE's control scheme.

No offence, but personally, I really hope that doesn't happen. I love Sherry! but Jake... not so much. He had some funny lines. But other then that, I didn't like him all that much. I don't wish to see him return to the series. That could just be me, I don't know.

I think that they should bring Claire, Jill, Chris and Leon back. I also think that maybe they could bring Ashley back, but insted of being an annoying, useless thing, she could be a butt-kicker(kind of like what they did to Sherry). Her story could be that after Leon rescued her, she wanted to be able to handle herself , like Leon; Smart, strong, brave etc, so then she got her father to get her a personal trainer, that could teach her how to kick zombie ass, how to use guns, how to fight, how to think fast, how to land so that she dosn't hurt herself and what not. Then in RE7, there could be another outbreak in a random place and Ashley's father dies, urging her to get revenge on whoever let the virus out. Leon, Chris, Claire and Jill could be dispatched there to get survivors and stuff but then Ashley bumps into them. Leon is surprised and impressed by her skills, making him convince the group to let her help them do their mission. So the game goes on but then they realise that Umbrella is still alive and run by the one and only; Steve Burnside. When the group attempts to kill Steve, he expresses himself, saying that how Claire had just left him and Wesker had taken him in. Claire is angered by this because she thought that he was good. They carry on trying to kill Steve, whom Wesker gave his power to. The group manages to capture Steve but before they dispose of him, he tells Claire that he had always loved her, trying to make her guilty and stop the execution. Claire, however, explains to him that she could never love someone so evil and then shoots him. I also think that sparks should fly between Jill and Chris and Leon and Claire, making Ashley very jealous of Claire. That's just my idea of an awesome Resident Evil7

While I do like the idea and thought put into that, I'm only left wondering one thing... Who dispatched Claire? She doesn't want to fight the wars anymore, she is working as an activist for TerraSave and Chris propably wouldn't want her in harms way anyway.

True. Well, what if something lead her? Like an answer to her parents death or something? I'm not sure if her folks are dead or not but it's just an idea.

Yes, that would work well. Or in this case, if Steve was involved she'd propably go there on her own anyway.
