True, so true. I guess there should be a "Weskerism", where all followers wear shades, even in the dark. I will do this. Seriously when I go to pick up my RE6 I will be wearing shades and when they ask me why I'll say, "In loving memory of Albert Wesker. R.I.P!!!" *mad dash from store super fast* And then, I shall wear my shades while playing it the first time through. *nods* Bonus points if you actually wear a trench coat at the same time. Dude I shall have it recorded for proof just to show you all while I'm at it. Let's do this!!! 10,000 internets for you if you do that. I was going to ask you to do that too but thought I'd let you come up with that idea yourself I actually just thought up dying my hair blonde and wear all black leather for this, going all cosplay just to go pick up this game. - Mass Distraction wrote:

Yeah but it was gonna happen sooner or later. I'm happy with how things are now. We have his son and sibling to look out for anyway. This is true but I still dislike this fact as well. |

I've worked and waited far too long for it to grow out so it'll be pulled back though. |

Interesting thoughts from creator of Resident Evil on Resident Evil 5 and 6. Thanks for the link, I always liked how Mikami always says what he thinks, I really liked when he said that he wasn't gonna play RE5.....he's the creator for fucks sake Yeah I know, I heard about people boycotting Resident Evil 6 because of the departure from the series. I honestly want to do that, but... It's hard because a year ago I didn't even know Residet Evil 6 was coming. |

So people are boycotting a game just because it doesn't contain the same formula as the old RE games? What about the people who want to play this game? Alot of people have never played RE before, and this could be the game to get them hooked with the series, and people want to take that away from them...just because it doesn't contain their beloved "Survival Horror"? Kind of selfish if you ask me. |

| Some people really do, I respect that they are, I mean they have to have a lot of integrity to ignore a major installment to a franchise they love. It shows that they're not buying the games just because it has Resident Evil on the title, in the end Resident Evil 6 has little of what Resident Evil use to stand for. They would rather buy games like Amnesia Dark Decent.
Resident Evil use to pave the way and set trends that affected the entire gaming market, not they're following trends like Gears and CoD. |

I think that if Mikami wouldn't have been the one behind RE4, the division of the fans would be a chaos |

Very true, it's not like it's going to affect Capcom's sales, and if it does, the that's good, because Capcom will realize that the fans of their games don't want a Call of Duty title with a Resident Evil skin. |

Are you serious? The whole thing about RE being like CoD needs to stop. Right now. I'm not sure about RE6 being like CoD (prediction: it won't be) but I do know that RE5 really is nothing like CoD. Again, it's a little like Uncharted or GoW. You know, 3rd person shooters. It's just a lazy way of complaining about how these really fun games have too much action in them. CoD is completely different. The style of gameplay is different. The art style is different. The way you play the game is different. The tone is different. The perspective is different. They're nothing like CoD. Oh excuse me. There's guns and action in both franchises so yeah I guess they're the same. |

| Capcom said it themselves: they're aiming for Call of Duty numbers, and I have to admit, that one of the Chris videos I saw didn't resemble Resident Evil at all.
I find it strange that Resident Evil 5 was inspired by Gears of War, yet Gears was inspired by Resident Evil 4. What happened to setting the standards and starting new trends that were adventurous for the franchise? Instead of setting the bar for next generation gaming they follow where the tide is taking them. |

Trying to compete with sales doesn't mean the games are clones of CoD. They're still completely different franchises with different fanbases. |

| They're aiming for their market. They're "introducing more action" to compete with CoD. |

| I usually disagree when games are compared to CoD, and I'm not doing it now either, but Mercy is right. That is their exact statement, aiming for CoD's market by having more action. |

Again, doesn't make it a CoD clone or something to easily compare. |

| I'm not calling it a clone, but the fact that they want to introduce a heavy dose of action to attract CoD's market is low. |

Probably going to want to go for Zwei and back up Tango Entertainment. |
