Hi everyone. I am also fan of Resident Evil, particularly of RE1 because it is the first Resident Evil game I ever played. At first I registered on another Resident Evil forum, but it has issues with registration procedure, so I never finish the registration and now I am here.

emm.. Not yet. I finished RE 1 Dual Shock Directors Cut version recently and I am reading novelization of it now (The Umbrella Conspiracy by S.D. Perry). It is kind of interesting to read novelizations. It is like you uncover the rest of the story, some interesting details etc. When I finish it I am going to play all Resident Evil games, beginning from Resident Evil 2.

Coming back to Resident Evil books. I just have finished "The Umbrella Conspiracy". So if you haven't read it yet I say that it's worth reading. The most interesting thing in my opinion is when you are reading the book you have the vision what every character doing at the moment (what you can't know when you are playing the game, characters appear some times and then you talk to them and then they dissapear and you don't know what they are doing when they are on their own). For example where was Wesker when Jill was in a room with armors and things like that. I don't know I liked it. And in some cases there are some unexpected interesting curvings of the plot

The books take some liberties with the story so not all is to be trusted, as the game canon takes priority. @Mcghie: I don't actually have all the books as they are really expensive here, but I have the books 0-2 I'm gonna buy the rest though, I'd rather own the actual copies. The covers are really cool btw. Holy crap, I almost forgot! Welcome to this madness, new guy. That's what you get for not logging in for a while.
