The main theme for when you enter the RPD in Resident Evil 2. Just a really great soundscape and sets the tone for game really well.

Ah yes. That was easily the hardest and scariest thing in RE2. Fourth Survivor, I mean.

Jesus, I tried to forget about that scenario. I have done it, but it wasn't no cakewalk. Try just running as fast as you can and dodge like crazy.

The track that plays at the beginning is called, "Beginning". I couldn't find it anywhere else. Just watch the whole trailer though, it's epic.

Resident evil games (well at least 1,2,3 and CVX) had many magnificent music scores it would be extremely difficult for me to choose a favourite one.
One of my favourites however was the ending theme to Resident evil 3. I thought it was such a beautiful theme that always fills me with such nostalgia I thought it was the perfect way to end RE 3. With all you witnessed in that game, civillians dying, feroucious monsters roaming the streets and slaughtering people, Mikhail bravely sacrificing himself and the ultimate destruction of Raccon City knowing only Jill(and Carlos) survived.
The theme made you look back on all you had witnessed in the city knowing Raccon city would be gone forever. Now when I hear that theme I look back on my childhood which is gone forever and the great times I had playing that game (and I still play it).
In a way, it's really beautiful knowing the pinnacle of the Raccon City happened on a ps1 game. Since then, the Resident Evil games have been on different locations on different systems.

That was a really insightful post, I like that.
I'd like to add that one thing, though. Nicholai survived, too. Depending on your ending, of course, but canonically he did.

Oh thank you, that's very nice of you. There is plenty of scores that I love in RE games, that's just one of them.

Oh did he ? mmmmm I'm not sure I like that. I did sort of like Nicholai but I did also like the prospect of him dying in Raccon City either by the destructive Nemesis or his own greed leading to his downfall (well Jill blowing the absoulete living HELL out of him in the helicopter) but you know what I mean.
Has there been any new information regarding him after the Raccon City nightmare ?

Absolutely nothing but he is listed as "alive" in all official sources.
If I remember correctly, the ending where Barry saves Jill is the canon one.

Then I wonder why they decided to keep him alive if they have no new information about him. They may as well have just killed him off.

Oh really...I have to admit, I prefer the ending where Carlos and Jill just leave without Barry.
It's funny isn't it, my favourite ending is where Nicolai dies and Jill and Carlos leave yet the official ending is the exact opposite.

I do hope we'll get to see more of him in the future.
I also personally liked the Barry ending being canon as it is the only time we've seen the guy after the first game. Well, in the canon anyway.

Me too. I hope they show him again because it would be very annoying to me if they kept him alive and revieled nothing new about him it would annoy me.

I understand why people like that. It just seems kinda strange the way he turns up at exactly the last minute and prior to that they didn't mention him once throughout the whole game.
And the fact that I personally prefer the theory that he dies in the mansion (even though I know that isn't the official ending for him) doesn't help either.
P.S I'm sorry if this message comes up twice.

Well they could kill them two off as well since they haven't updated anything about them though Billy and Sherry were different compared to Nicholai. They were more important characters to their story (even though I didn't really care for Billy and wouldn't mind at all if he was killed off). Nicholai wasn't that central to the story. The real villian of RE 3 game was Nemesis.
