Nothing musically in the RE world beats The Moonlight Sonata. If a zombie apocalypse ever does occur, I will have that shit looped on muh Ipod. Seems like shooting zombies whilst listening to it would make it a peaceful experience.
I also love the end credit music to RE2. That shit is the mad note!

The Moonlight Sonata is a great piece for sure. I just don't count it to be "RE" but that pretty much depends on preferences.
Which end music do you mean? There are three of them.

If I had to pick one song to sum up RE, it would have to be Moonlight Sonata. In fact, if I were directing an RE movie, I'd have that song playing during the opening credits. For the movie based on the first game of course.

Yeah, if Resident Evil had a theme, it should be Moonlight Sonata.

I'm glad I'm not alone in my opinion of The Moonlight Sonata.

Yeah, RE2 credits song is awesome . Tied with RE3s 'Staff and credits' as the best ending theme in RE IMO.

Kinda unrelated to RE but Parasite Eve may very well have my favorite music in all of video gaming history. I think music is key to making a good game vs a GREAT game.

True, music is more important than many think. If I listen to music of Ocarina of Time I instantly feel the nostalgia.
I've never played Parasite Eve but I heard it's an survival-horror RPG. Is it any good?

One of my all time Favorites. The first one was heavily RPG. The second one not nearly as much. Good, solid, creepy games. I wish they would make another.

Maybe I should download it from PSN if I get my PS3. Which one is better?

Gameplay wise, I would go with #2... The story was better in the first. Can't go wrong with either, in my opinion. The first one is a pretty long damn game if you want 100% completion. I had hundreds of hours in the first and was on my 5th or 6th playthrough before I completed the entire game.

I totally forgot about Sad but True. That music, along with the fight, was just amazing .

If there was ever a definitive Wesker theme, this would be it:
Of all the music in RE4, this one gives me the chills, because it's so darn cozy.
This next one, is a beautiful final battle theme. There's so much finality to it. When I listen to it, it makes me think of an opera-like story with a lot of drama and high tensions, with romance and character development. This music feels like it's the final battle at the end of a long journey, where the heroes are finally taking out the root of their problems, the main villain, and are freeing themselves of the burden of being further oppressed by it. This right here, is the end. It all either goes to hell, or it doesn't. Of course, this isn't how it is in Code Veronica or Darkside Chronicles, but that's what this battle theme makes me feel.
