@Jamesy: I think he actually asked about Revelations The max payne releaed soon this year is made by rockstar. Just checked, seems to be true. Damn, I so wanted it to be from Remedy D: Another game gone for the western developer. But the two earlier games were MADE by Remedy but PUBLISHED by Rockstar. - Jamesy wrote:

| I am 21 and unemployed at the moment but living with my parents. I am still into the RE1 remake (I know i am sad). Have been addicted to that game ever since my 13th birthday. Nowadays it can get boring if i play too much so i usually take a big break between playing with it nowadays. I don't know why but nowadays whenever i play the RE1 Remake it feels more like a reminisent journey into the past feel than an actual vido game. I guess the RE1 remake holds a lot of cherished memories cause that is the first RE game i ever played. Used to be absolutly addicted as well to RE4 for years but my brother solid it behind my back in 2 years ago He also sold umbrella chronicles behind my back. Although i enjoy RE5 i can't say i enjoyed playing it as much as RE4. |

Come on weskerbarber the RE1 Remake is class. It is no doubt, but its not just remake, i cant play any game no matter how good it is over and over again because its gets too boring and repetitive. And i agree with mass, your brothers sounds a dickhead, maybe you should beat him up jamesy. |

So what size doesnt count for shit. Walk up behind him and drive him in the back of the knee, that should bring him down to your level. |

Reminds me of myself, can only play a game no matter how good every so often. Play it once or twice put it down for a year or 2 lol. Anyway, just jumping in on this convo. |

Not even after a longgggggggggggggggggggg time? That depends on the game. For example, I just went through Uncharted again on hard mode. |

| Well to me the RE1 Remake is more than just 'a video game' its the first RE game i ever played and its very special to me and yeah it can get boring if i keep playing it too much. playing the game is like taking a trip back in the past if you catch my drift.
I think the re1 remake is one of those game you have to put to one side for a few yeas and then when you play it again BAM it feels fresh and scary again.
Its a lot more fun and straightforward to play than RE0.
For instance i stopped playing the Re1 remake in 2003 and then played it again in 2009 and i really got into it again. |

| i usually have a three game rotation. that way whenever i get sick of something, even if its only a week and im not even halfway through, everything feels fresh because im used to another type of game.
for instance, right now the rotation is:
1: Resident Evil 5
2: Resistance 2
3: Red Dead Redemption/To be replaced when I get Marcel Vs. Capcom 3 |

| I couldn't get into Resistance 2. FPS games have just shitted out on me for the past couple years. I realized there is nothing different about them. Except Half Life. |

I haven't played any of my RE's in a long time, several months. Only Director's Cut when I got it a couple of months back. RE0 almost seems like a task when starting off...but once you get started it is just as fun as any other, possibly more fun. Also, just an FYI to anybody I might have told about my RE5 Gold problems. I think I figured out why it wasn't letting me play Reunion or look at the unlocked figures and such. Turns out I accidentally downloaded something extra, which I'm sure I didn't, but the problem is fixed so it's cool now. |

| My favourite area in the RE1 remake is the spencer mansion. there is something so disturbingly real about that mansion and it really sticks in your mind every area and room is just so creepy. that is why i want bill gates to construct a replica of the mansion right down the to the lighting effects the mansion in re0 is easily forgettable. |

the mansion in re0 is easily forgettable. Thats because its not a mansion its a training facility. |

I really wished that when in the mansion there was some sort of BGM, that always made the RE games so much more memorable. I remember all the main tracks from the original, RE2, CVX and some stuff from RE3, oh and RE0 as well. We typically got silence in the REmake, which wasn't bad, just less memorable. It was nice when a zombie burst through a door and the music got loud and scary though. I also wish there was a good way to explore the mansion, like in a spectator mode. I was always curious as to what the different picture, paintings and portraits on the walls looked like, and because of the camera angles we usually got obscure angles to see them from. Unfortunately UC didn't help things by moving around too fast. But yeah, a spectator mode would be cool. I sure somebody could swing that on the PC or if they hacked it somehow... |

| Well yeah but by lighitng effects i mean the lighting in certain rooms from lamps etc. the mansion in LIN was really good but nowhere near as cool as the mansion from the remake. I think the mansion in the RE1 remake is probably the coolest and best mansion i have ever seen in my life. so good in fact that it is criminal that it has not been constructed in real life |
