Y: The Last Man TV series adaption

I've read the comic series it's based on, which has an interesting premise in which a doctor, the ironically-named Allison Mann, carries to term her own clone, the birth of which triggers males of all species on earth to immediately die off. The titular character, Yorick Brown, and his pet capuchin monkey Ampersand end up being the only remaining living males on earth, then go on a journey with Dr. Mann, a secret agent known only as "355", and a series of other companions to find out how and why Yorick and Ampersand survived.

I thought you meant the Lastman comics. Deceptively similar names. The animated series based on those is actually made by one of my favorite animators of all time, Jeremie Perin.

It's a good read. It's also a feminazi's wet dream, but still a good read. lol
