| Since we have so many different upgrade systems in the games I thought I should ask which one do you prefer? What would you like to see in the next main installment?
I thought about adding the weapon craft/repair system David used in Outbreak but it's not really an upgrade system so eh. You can still use that as your answer if you so wish.
I personally prefer both the original weapon part system and the one Revelations had. It's much more realistic than a magical shop where you can upgrade your weapon stats whenever you like. |

| I think it's safe to say no one liked the upgrade system in RE6. |

The game itself is okay (story-wise, Advanced Warfighter 2 was better, IMO), but the weapon customization is great. I have hopes that more third-person military shooters will adopt similar systems. |

| When it comes to me I like the basic upgrades. Heck I loved in finding a satchel in the old games and getting and extra 2 inventory slots. It was basic, realistic and logical. I like the simple things. |

| The BEST upgrade system was in RE1 / RE2 / RE3 when you found the upgrade parts for your guns.
It was realistic and didn't pull you out of the game. The new system (re4 and up) pulled you out of an immersive experience and either the Merchant did it for you (which was too game like) or in RE5 & 6 had a seperate UI.
Pulling the player out of the game and showing them a screen where they can upgrade their guns is stupid. It adds unnecessary UI, doesn't make in-game sense, and breaks the experience. |

| What about RER upgrade system then? You still had upgrade parts you had to collect and fit in the weapons. |

| Well, what about the upgrade system in DSC? You can upgrade the amount of ammo, shooting speed, power, etc. |

It's pretty much the same as the RE4/5 weapon shop so I didn't feel the need to make a seperate entry for them. |
