xbox 360 4gb

So.....I don't think this is fair, a lot of current and new games, such as need for speed rivals, walking dead and now Metal Gear Ground Zeroes; can't be played on a 4gb 360 just cause they need to install on an internal hdd.

Why???, I bought that 360 cause it was cheaper and because I could use an external 500gb usb flashdrive for those things, but now they requiere the original internal hdd. and most of those games don't even warn you before, you have to wait for someone to try it and post onlne that it doesn't work. why not use the external drive? gta v requiered installation too and it can be installed on an external, but all these new games can't.

the only way is to hack it so the console can play games on an external drive, but I won't do that cause it also cost money and it cancels the internet connection. fuck Microsoft.

btw, I'm not buying an original interanl xbox hdd, is too expensive for what it is.

it's a long story, 3 years ago ps3 games were very expensive here, so I bought an xbox cause I could download the games for it, but when the digital releases for ps3 became more popular I bought a ps3 and buy the games digitally cause they are cheaper to me than physical copies. I even got a ps+ subscription. but when I want to just try a game I download it for xbox, like for example, ground zeroes. I just want to play it on xbox cause it'll be just a prologue.


btw, I've tried a lot of games back to back for both consoles, the graphical difference is too damn high!

As an xbox user with the 4GB version, I don't quite understand that bull crappery myself.

oh, it gets better, Konami states that you can use an external hdd

EDIT: Konami changed their support page and there's no mention of an external drive, besides the game is only 1.7gb!!! it could be installed anywhere, but nope, it requieres the original 360 internal hdd

Eh, at this point just get it for your PS3.

Or return the game for false advertisement.

yeah, I'm gonna pass from this game, to end the topic, here's Konami response:

"Unfortunately, if you have a USB Drive you will not be able to play the game. It is stated on the front cover, as well as via the Digital Marketplace that a Hard Drive is required to play the game. Leading up to the launch on our support site, it was indicated that it would be possible to install and run the additional data via a USB Drive. However, this information was unfortunately incorrect and we deeply apologize for the inconvenience and miscommunication. In order to play METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES, an internal hard drive is required. Neither a USB Drive or the 4GB of Internal/Flash Memory for the Core units will be recognized."

well, in the bright side, I could use a laptop hdd and format it as a 360 hdd and put it in the slot of the 4gb console, after I give MGS a try I can format back the hdd as it was and put it on the laptop again
