Not everyone is capable of doing a live stream. You'd need the right setup and a good connection.

Yeah, I was just saying a stupid thing but I can't think of any other way....other than the honor system

The first contest will be up today, right now the admins are discussing the rules. Expect something simple for now.

I would suggest, if you don't have any recording or capture equipment, writing down your forum username on a piece of paper and photographing it (digital camera, cell phone camera, etc) in the same frame as your results screen.

I'd have to take the laptop in the other room, and Take a Picture with me in it. After all, 90+K on Castle with Hunk isn't that easy...ish. And, those Codebreaker disk's are like 80 dollars now. After it corrupted my memory TWICE, we had to get rid of it.

For future contests, if we do some online tournament thingy I'm able to stream it and record it and edit it for an eventual youtube upload

A new contest is coming up soon: we're going with something simple again so more people can participate.

Though I think we'd have to wait for Youtube to get the stick out of their butts about the whole copyright thing before we can do a tournament.

Then I'll have to find a way to post a video if it'll involve youtube.

I'm not sure if it will involve YouTube. Not for now at least.

The whole copy right thing is a messed. Downloading videos are hard because of that shit

Impossible. The stick is too far up to be released.

It's been so far up for so long that YouTube and said stick have ceased to be separate entities.

Dang, I just watched some RE4 Merc's videos on youtube...and if I don't get better soon I'm screwed. (As in they have 190,000 and above, I'm still at the 100,000's...)

Alright, so I've been devising another contest, but it does seem impossible without everyone's preferences, Xbox or Playstation, Resident Evil 6 to Resident Evil ORC, here's what we're going to do for our next long awaited contest: everyone post your system first and we'll divide amongst the members who has what and we'll narrow it down from game, to gametype, to rules.

Simply post what system you have in this thread.

Xbox, RE5 or 6, non-DLC content, because I'm cheap as FUCK.

I don't think there are any 4 player modes for RE5 or RE6 that isn't DLC.

I mentioned an A rank run on Experimental Facility from RE5 Mercs Reunion. Mass mentioned the Ship Deck, but that one isnt even fun. I think S rank on Reunion's Experimental Facility. SS is possibly asking for too much, but S should be something you have to work for.

What do you think Vandal? Since you seem to be running the contests. Im sure we have all had some BOSS runs on the original Experimental Facility, but Reunion really anteys up the difficulty, with the sheer amount of Bazooka Joes among all the other adversities on that stage. It's bazooka and stun rods galore, with tons of annoying Majini Plaga mutations, Lickers, the works. So yeah, my suggestion:

I'm still trying to gauge what game system players should play. It would be easier if I just had a verses match and monitored everyone's numbers whilst the admin should have no affect on the player's score. If it is a Mercenaries match, it is practically impossible to have two playwers without both at least defending themselves, and both scores get matched together as you both daisychain combos.

In ORC it would be much easier. We could have 7 contestants plus one admin, the one with the most kills would be the winner.

ORC might be ideal for a direct contest, where everyone just competes against eachother in a match. I dont see why the console would matter. Like with the Experimental Facility run idea, could be on any console, 360, Ps3, or PC.

The consoles do matter actually, unless everyone who participates has ORC for the 360 then it'll be easier. But some of us have a PS3 and a lack of an Xbox. Mass could cover PS3 and I could cover 360. We don't have enough members for a PC competition, do we?

Why do the consoles matter if its the same game? I mean like, remember the RE4 Pro Village Run contest we had way back when? Which only you and Chocotricks participated in. I recall that the 360 HD RE4 and the original GC version were used.

Because if it's a verses match with everyone in it, I need to monitor it to see who has the most kills or points or whatever. It's different from your contest because I'm sort of assuring we have a clear winner in a match.

Ah. So it wont matter for stuff like my suggested RE4 Pro Village and RE5 Mercs Reunion Experimental Facility S Rank runs, but those have to be judged. While the one with ORC isnt so much being judged as it is just giving us a clear cut winner. Recording your own personal run VS playing Live with other Live competitors. We can always do each.
