| Great job Nite! As a fellow atheist, I too find it hard to live close to Christians (my entire family is almost Christian). I find your blog very well written, and if you want any help, then just ask. |

| I haven't had a chance to give it a detailed look yet, but from just glancing at it a couple of times it looks as though it has a good structure to it. Sometimes people choose the most ridiculous layouts . I'll leave a better response once I have gone through it completely. Oh, and Richard Dawkins is a boss |

It really must be hard.I suppose I'm lucky, because my family doesn't believe in god. |

| I just chose Blogger for the rather simple layout it has. I liked the darker background for the template I chose and I really don't like reading large amounts of white text on a black background, so that's why I went with the darker yellow for the text. The simplicity suits me, because I try to be as simple as possible. It would be tragic if such important information was lost on someone only because I failed to keep it simple. I will also be going slightly in-depth in regards to physics and evolution in order to hopefully get these great theories through to people who reject them (mainly because they don't fully understand them.) |

| My family is also entirely Christian. Until I turned 18 last year I had to attend mass every Sunday. I made it very clear to my parents that I didn't believe but they still dragged me along. I also was in the Catholic school system until I got to University. I would say 80-85% of people in my school were atheist or non-practicing.
In my opinion, if you are an atheist and you want your children to share your atheist views, put them in Catholic school. If that doesn't make them atheist, nothing will. Haha |

Haha Dawkins wrote that he was very happy that his parents did not teach him what to think, but how to think. Anyone who teaches their children to think rationally and critically is preventing them from falling for such superstitious beliefs as religion. |

My parents could look me in the eyes and tell me that there was no such thing as the monster under my bed, only to turn around and tell me that there is a magical flying man in the sky who knows about everything I do. |

That is fairly specific so probably. I'd love to hear your views though. Either on the blog or here is fine! |

Or at least rationally and critically by your beliefs. I think an intelligent person can decide for themselves whether they believe in either or. If you can really understand each, and then make your assesment, then that's better than just going with one or the other, with ignoring the one that's different than your own. |

| Rational and critical thought is not something subjective. |

| Open your head and feed your mind a little, then believe the same things as confidently as you do. |

| Trust me. I have. Rationale and critical thinking gave us the theory of evolution. Irrationality gave us the theory of every species of animal on earth climbing aboard an ark two by two to survive a global flood. Rational and critical thinking (when dealing with falsifiable claims) inevitably lead to the exact same conclusion every time. If it can be proven, people thinking rationally and critically will never be divided in the end. |

| The idea of people getting aboard some ark is just an interpretation. It's about as rational as The Matrix. If not less.
I'm just talking about opening your mind and interpretting things for yourself. Think for youself, question authority. |

| Exactly. Authority should always be questioned. That's the great thing about science. Science has no authority. Questioning and learning things for myself is exactly how I've arrived at the conclusions I have. |
