Resident Evil Revelations, coming to 360 and PS3

Does it suck for those who bought a 3DS just for Revelations? Sure it does, I'm one of them. But Capcom does this all the time with their games. They came out with a countless number of Street Fighter 4's, two MVC3's, two Resident Evil 5's, all different editions and such. I wasn't sure they would even port Revelations because it's a handheld game, just as sure as I knew they weren't going to port Mercenaries 3D.

I am happy that I was able to experience the game, I do plan on getting this when it arrives on the marketplace.

Go to Rely on Horror. Saw some rumors there. One of them is a HD port of Revelations.

Well, even though a HD port is always welcomed by the fans, I don't intend on getting a Wii U...yet. It's just too much money. Although that's what they keep on doing it for - our money.

Why would you have to get a Wii U anyway? Doesn't the title of this thread already suggest it's also supposed to be on PS3 and 360?

You, me and Mass are like the only ones that were foolish enough to get suckered into buying a 3DS. Although Mercs3D probably isn't going anywhere.

However, I don't regret the purchase, I like my 3DS.

Not a huge Zelda fan. Though I can open a can of whup ass with Link in Soul Caliber II! I cannot be beaten. Yes, have some fun with that last sentence.

The 3DS is an excellent portable, and is the best one in my opinion. It's basically a portable console in that the games on them are of console quality.

I wouldn't have bought a 3DS for just a couple of games. I already have a bunch of games and going to get more. The RE titles only made me buy the console sooner.

Oh yeah, and I remember some Capcom representative saying that if Mercs3D does well they'll either port it or make a console sequel. I think there's an iOS version out there at this point.

Dat control stick, especially with Circle Pad Pro which gives you a second stick and three more shoulder buttons.

I didn't buy that Circle Pad Crap. I'm sure it works fine though.

Can't understand people's lovestory with the Circle Pad. "Dat" is certainly no "control stick", and while it serves it's purpose and is a general improvement on the past Digicross, it's still lacking the ease of a true control stick.

It was in the RER bundle I got. Stopped to use it quite quickly, though. I did love the two additional shoulder buttons (Massy, it has three, but it only give you two additional ones, since it blocks access to the regular R), but for me it was far more intuitive playing without it, cause that basically meant reliable RE4 controls.

Got it bundled with RER. While Trichos hasn't used his, I couldn't imagine playing RER without it.

I know but it actually does not block the use of the regular R and you can still use it. While it still does the exact same thing it's still an additional button.

The PS3 is still like over £200. But I wouldn't get a PS3 just for one game anyhow.

There is actually a few good exclusives that make me want to get a Ps3. Any of the RE's, including that Archives pack that has like most every main title. How unfair. As well as MGS4, Heavy Rain and...well that might be it. But still. Oh, then I could whoop Nite in CoD or something.

I purposely didn't mention those. lol I'm sure they're really good, but I'm not at all interested in them.

Well, I can actually give the game a try now. All I got is a GC, PS1, PS2, PS3, ad terrible slow ass laptop

Perhaps they could release a downloadable version of Mercs 3D that they can milk with tons of character and map DLC. I actually wouldn't mind milking like that.

They actually said that they would make more Mercenaries games for different platforms if the 3DS one does well. They already made one for iOS so I guess it's only a matter of time.

Ahh Jill was my favourite character, glad I get to play this 360

At least the working title seems to be Resident Evil Revelations HD so it's a yes.

Again, this brings in the question "What happened to Resident Evil Portable?"

At this point, though, I really hope they wouldn't release any more exclusive titles. I already bought a 3DS for RE and they are already planning on a Wii U title so it would be a total pain to have yet another exclusive.
