I have a feeling that Leon has met Wesker at one point (or at least saw him). A lot can happen during the span of various games, and its never been directly stated that he hasn't met Wesker. Though at the moment, it's safe to say that he hasn't met him.

It's safe to say that Leon hasn't met Wesker...Because if he did he wouldn't be in RE6 now...

I wouldn't exactly say that. If Claire, Chris, and Jill can survive an encounter by luck, so can Leon. However, I heard he was originally supposed to take Steve's place in CVX, but the developers and fanbase liked him enough to not kill him. Because of this, Steve now exists.

Well what would the purpose for Leon meeting Wesker anyway? As far as I'm concerned they never met. I'm sure they knew of each other, Wesker ordered Ada to kill him in RE4 if I recall.

Eh...maybe they could make some mini-scenario of one of Leon's missions in 1999-2003 involving something having to do with Wesker. Even though I'm still ok with the fact that they haven't met, I'd still be nice if Capcom could fit it in sometime (which will probably never happen unless it features another cash-cow character again).

I doubt they'd kill Leon now. I'm not a fanboy, but he's likeable in some aspects. He's still a highly popular character to the developers, and iy'll be a while before Leon stops generating cash for the developers.

Powers or not Wesker would prevail over Leon and for a number of reasons. He'd have more combat training compared to Leon for a basic example. If you look at how Wesker fights (despite his super strength) he would clearly give Leon a good run for his money. He only seems to use his abilities at certain points to begin with despite his arrogance (I.E. to catch up to you and of course he's going to pommel the living hell out of your arse).

And why do you people have to point out the stupidest of crap to put a character down? Really? Leon's hairstyle is the only thing you can find to put him down with? Sheesh find something more solid to explain your 'hateful dislike' of the character. Otherwise your reason is just stupid and pointless.

Also if Wesker and Leon had met face to face it doesn't necessarily mean Leon wouldn't be in RE6. Wesker will use you unless there is no need for you, then he'll just kill you. We could use Claire in CVX as an example of that when he said, "It seems you're still of some use to me. I'm going to let you live, a little longer." Or Excella from RE5, when there was no use for her any longer, he was rid of her.

Wesker is calculating, conniving, analytical of a situation, and patient. He'll use what and whoever he can to his advantage in any given situation so he can be sure to come out on top of things. Though he does seem to underestimate his opponents from time to time which makes one wonder on a level, but chances are he's prepared the next time around in case of a similar situation.

Anyway, my choice is Wesker. Despite the copy of a topic. Again per usual it would seem.

I'd naturally go for Wesker.

I don't like Leon that much, but JESUS no need to be all up in the face about it. We get it. From like the first post.

I've said it before, but here goes. Chris beat Wesker, but Wesker kicked his ass throughout. Chris beats Leon (when you play RE6, you'll understand), so Leon doesn't stand a chance against the shaded fiend.
