| Oh right? I didn't know the zombie couldn't kill you, because I just know I was down to my last square of health when I got prompted to button mash.
Yeah, that is a blow. When I feel I'm close to death, I wanna be that way. Slightly disappointed, but I'm sure it will be a solid 24 hours anyway. |

| Am I the only person who chose Sherry over Jake? Anyway, I only ran through the demo once but... I thought Sherry/Jake sequence was the best. Who knew little Sherry would grow up to be such a badass. The damn chick had more weapons than every other character in the game combined. Plus, she has the best melee attacks. Sherry>Chris, Leon, new guy. Sherry= Business Sheva Chris sequence was the worst. He has way too many squad mates. Like Mass already said, the action was all over the place. Also, the characters were generic... Feris: trusty side kick Noob guy: Noob guy Just plain boring. Leon/Helena was very atmospheric. I felt myself spending time looking around than actually progressing through the game. A bit on the easy side but it's a demo so I'll let it slide. It felt like old skool RE. My biggest gripes were the poor lighting, camera angle and flaky cover system. Hopefully, these problems have already been addressed and fixed. |

| In response to whoever couldn't figure out how to use health herbs, it's the R2 button on PS3 and (I would presume) the right trigger on 360. Pull it and your character pops an "herb pill" that restores one block of health. To use herbs you pick up, you have to put them in your pill box. Select the herb in your menu and there's an option to put it in the box.
I was pleasantly surprised with Leon's campaign, as I didn't think Capcom could do survival horror anymore. Didn't like his dual-wielding, though. The ability to melee at the touch of a button was what made it so easy. Try replaying it without using melee attacks on anything but downed zombies and it won't be so easy.
Remember the level "Warpig" in CoD4, where you escort the M1 Abrams through the city? Well, Chris' campaign was "Warpig" 2.0, plain and simple. That's all I have to say about it.
Jake's campaign seemed, at least to me, to be an attempt to better merge survival horror and action shooter, but I found it pretty meh, TBH. |

That was me, thanks. I think I may like the new herb system. |

| Played the demo today and I must say that Leon's demo was the best imo. I agree with Mass about Helena's AI. When I asked her to revive me, she responded very well. Chris and Jake's was just all over the place. The controls felt very awkward and I wished it was more customizable. I really enjoyed the melee ( it was fun kicking zombies XD). The cover system and aiming was kinda bad. I couldn't get a decent headshot. I hope it's fixed before release, but all in all it was an ok demo at best. |

| So, if Wesker is Jake's father, who is his mother? |

Chris' and Jake's aiming was spot on, so I'm thinking perhaps the problem with Leon's was a bug. |

| Yeah, the melee is a big improvement over the shitty knife action. Loved smashing them with my feet. Feels more satisfactory then shooting them all down. So evil. |

I guess the melee is an improvement if you want the game to be too easy. Aside from that, there's no reason whatsoever to be excited over it. |

| Just played the demo. It was pretty good, however I never had the time to get use to the inventory system. All in all though it seemed pretty solid. It was a little confusing at times though. |

| the only problem i had was that it took two or more shots in the head to kill a zombie (leon mode) i was hoping for a degenerations moment (you know, picking off zombies one at a time while remaining calm) but i guess it could make game to easy. that's pretty much my problem lol, so i'm loving it |

| The demo is pretty silly. A friend and I played Leon'a campaign and the first thing we did was roll our way up the stairs. Then in the campus grounds we sat on our backs and shot birds. They don't drop anything.

You need to have the online option "offline". Otherwise the pause won't work. |

| I'm not sure how well Ivy University is, or if it's a good school at all, nor do I know how long into the outbreak this game has been in; but I always pictured Ivy University to be some grade A school with lots of funding, seeing how the President visited there. Anyway, to my point: how the hell did Ivy University get so dirty?! |

| Somehow I think turning the aiming laser on enhances the aiming and shooting calibration. - weskersbarber wrote:

Of course the pause (Select) is in real time and doesn't freeze everything that's going on around you. |

| I downloaded the demo just recently on the PSN network and out of the 3 scenarios, Leon and Helena's was probably the best of the three. As I read in a few responses, I too had an issue with the contrast. After you ran up the first set of stairs (after the president shooting intro), when the first zombie crashes through the door to grab you and you shake him off...he just disappeared in the dark floor! I couldn't see him at all...although I could hear him. Hope Capcom has fixed this for the game's release on October 2nd!! |
