I'm still not totally convinced Annette is definitely dead but you was right in saying she didn't really have a big role, or any plan.

Sure we never really saw her body disintegrate but I think we already have enough characters who have come back after supposedly dying. Any more and the whole thing would get stale.

I honestly would find it kind of pointless at this time to bring Annette back into the series. I mean sure they just brought her daughter, Sherry Birkin, back but if Annette returns I doubt she'd either be herself or anything outside of a vegetable state of mind.

I'm saying this here as she was another prominent female Umbrella scientist. Only she actually lived, even if as a mutant.

In scenario B she was stabbed by William and bled to death there is no way Annette could come back from that and since canon wise the main story is B she dies..
