RE:downfall

Another one for DS, huh? Cool. Too bad, I don't have one xD But they should make one for PSP too. Well, there were rumors before that they'll make one for PSP but they changed it to DS. *sigh* Still, it's good news.

Knowing these two games are porting on PS3 makes me happy that I'm getting a PS3 <3

Anyway, let's get back on topic. As the release date of Damnation is now known (June 2013), posted by ChrisSherry on another thread, it's most likely that Downfall (if it exists) will be released sometime around the release of the movie. Now we at least have some indication on when to expect this.

Downfall will be released after RE6, it's the end of the year actually. Still not yet sure, There's no confirmation of Capcom, Digital Spy and E3.

Where did you get that information from? There's no news on the authenticity of the Downfall rumor either.

You didn't know? Yeah, they're porting them as Resident Evil HD Chronicles and it's basically going to be the same thing as was with Revival Selection: retail version in Japan and downloadable everywhere else. Just wait for June 26th. Here's a link to an article: [link]

Cause Capcom immediately delete the information according this. The information came from Resident Evil 6 forums. I have a link on this on my other thread.

They could still show it at TGS. That's usually when they show the teasers.

Yeah and even then they could still release them at another time.

Considering that this thread was opened in May 11th and today is the 14th of November,I'm pretty sure it's fake,just like the rumor that Chris married Jill - Capcom should have announced the game a lot earlier(Capcom always announces games a lot earlier,so the wait slowly kills you )
Besides isn't it illogical - two moves and one game.Doesn't make any sense to me.

The difference is that the whole marriage thing was announced fake, while Capcom has refused to say anything about Downfall.

Lol. I consider the Pokemon games to be different in that aspect. They're prefect for handhelds, and mainly the only reason why I still purchase them.

Games like Resident Evil, I'd just think be more enjoyable on a console.

Maybe Capcom decided to cancel the game and just didn't want to disappoint the fans so they didn't even mention it.

I see your point. I've quit it with the Pokémon games since the third genetarion, though. At that point I realized they'll never stop making new creatures and decided to stick with Ruby. I still might get Soul Silver since the batteries in my original Silver and Crystal versions have died.

I have nothing against the newer generations but I just don't really like the designs. I do like some, like Giratina for example, but that's only a few. That's why I prefer to stick with the older gens. I might go for some of the spinoffs, though. Something like the Explorer's series or the new Pokémon Conquest (I love strategic RPGs).

I get the feeling we need a Pokémon thread.
