| So today I walked into GameStop, saw it on the rack, and decided to buy it. |

Achives I & II are a rather comprehensive compendium of the history of Resident Evil. Both books published by Brady Games, the first one has run out of editions and the few that can be found on sale on sites like eBay cost ridiculous amounts of money. |

| It's out there, it's just no less than $150. I plan to buy it once I have enough spare change. |

I got Archives I for $20. Bought it from a friend of mine who isn't into RE like they used to be and is just selling their stuff left and right. |

| I finally got my copy of Archives I about a month ago. I bought it off of amazon and the total cost with shipping was $120. That was my second time trying to buy it off amazon...the first time I spent $80 and it never showed up. I got my money back though . A while ago I actually saw 2 copies on amazon listed for $1999.99, no joke. That's ridiculous. Oh and quick question...does anyone know exactly how many English versions of Archives I there are floating around out there? It was a limited thing wasn't it? Or at least published for a very short time? Geezz...I haven't posted on this forum in forever lol. I need to start getting back online cause I love this place |

I don't think they will . They probably have some sort of licensing or publishing agreement with Brady Games. They also probably want to keep it as a limited edition thing. |

| I do wonder why they want to keep it as a limited edition as they're not getting a single penny from the used sales. They'd make a ton of money if they actually made a new print and corrected the mistakes and typos. |

| Who knows why...lol I would just be sad if they re-released it because I just spent $120 on a copy. If they did re-release it they would have a chance to fix some typos, such as how it says "Resident Evil Zero" over all the concept art in the book.
I could see them releasing a refurbished model. If the sad day ever comes where Capcom decides to end the series I'm certain there will be a book released that sums up everything in the series. |

Something like "The Encyclopedia of Resident Evil"? That would be nice. I'm sure there will be at least one more Archives book before that happens, though. Oh, and even if they did make a new print you'd still have one from the first print. That'd still keep it collectible |

Oh I'm sure there will be, there has to be! They can't just leave RE6 out of the archives series. That said, they can't just make an archives book about one game, meaning more RE! I honestly wish they had waited for RE6 to come out so they could have included it in Archives II. I just felt Archives II was a little short with only two featured games (I'm not counting the Wii games...screw the Wii games lol). I did like the inclusion on the RE CG movies, and once again, they could have waited for Damnation to come out. Oh well. |

| I liked the addition of the Chronicles games, it's good that they include the canon games. They two are not exclusive to Wii anymore either.
You're also forgetting Revelations. We already have three prominent titles to have featured in the next Archives, those being RE6, Revelations and Damnation. Maybe even Downfall as the fourth one, if that turns out to be true.
I do wonder if they're ever gonna feature any of the Survivor games in the Archives books. |

| Are the chronicles games actually any good? I've just seen trailers, and limited gameplay. I haven't actually played it myself. Arn't you just led around and made to point and shoot with your Wii controller? Sorry lol, I just have a thing against Wii. What other systems are they available on? Cause if it's on Xbox kinect I'm all in haha. And yeah I forgot about revelations, that's another one I have on my list. I don't have a 3DS but I've heard you can mod the games to fit in a regular DSi. I'm gonna wait until it gets cheaper before I potentially ruin a game though. - Mass Distraction wrote:

I know right? I love the Survivor games, and was really surprised they weren't included in Archives I. |

They're on Wii and PS3. Since I don't have Wii I've only been playing with my PS3 controller. I have both downloaded from PSN but I've only played Umbrella Chronicles, only need to finish the final boss. So far I've liked the games, they're your regular on-rail shooters but with RE. Haven't played any of those since Die Hard on PS. Btw. I've never heard you could do that with 3DS games. I don't even think it's possible because the DSi doesn't have enough power in it to run games like Revelations. Also the screen resolution might become a problem. |
