Resident evil archives 2 and 3

does anyone know weather or not resident evil 2 and 3 are going to be released as archives for wii?

i dont know but i hope they do!!!

If they do, I hope it is with updated graphics, cause all we need is the 18th billionth port of PS1-era graphics.

dident the gamecube versions of 2 and 3 have better graphics? so did the dreamcast versions.

I have the Gamecube port of RE2, but the graphics aren't really no improvement compared with the PS1 original, because the Gamecube version is merely a direct port of the Dual Shock PS1 Version of RE2. The one graphical difference, though, is that the FMVs run at higher rates per minute than the Dual Shock version did.

yes i noticed that resident evil 3 graphics didnt change much! i thought it was going to be like re 0 and re remake

It would've been nice if Capcom had put in the effort to make RE2 and RE3 take full advantage of the Gamecube's graphical power the same way they did with REmake and RE0. I've noticed games on the Wii, and some on the XBOX 360, that aren't as realistic-looking as REmake!

yes i agree. they should totally update the graphics, and put it on the xbox 360. and yeh sometimes the gamecube graphics are better than the xbox 360

To see RE2 and RE3 with XBOX 360 graphics would definitely be breath-taking! lol

to me they are. the ps1 versions of RE2 is just a pixelated disaster. and the gamecube and dreamcast version smoothed that out so did the PC version

I agree that it is much smoother and a loss less pixelated, but it's easy to tell that it's not an overhaul like REmake was, as far as the graphics go.

Not sure, but I predict that they will, I mean the purpose of an archive is to look at previous things, and I think it would be stupid for Capcom to only release RE0 & RE1. They could at the very least release ports onto the Wii of RE2 & RE3, if not CVX as well. And put a damn movie browser, this is why UC was so lame, the extras, they could add a few new things, and personally I think being able to view the amazing cutscenes at my leisure would be perfectly satisfactory.
