Best Resident Evil: Afterlife Review

This is the best review of RE Afterlife IMO. Angry Joe put it best...

Oh my god. From 7:12 it takes fucking forever and looks shitty as hell. I'm so happy I didn't have to suffer anymore of this film. I have never spent any money on the Resident Evil movies, and I don't ever plan to.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. And I disagree with the "Fuck 3D". Shadow of the Colossus is gorgeous in 3D.

3D is an unnecessary gimmick. Anyhow, Afterlife is one of the worst movies I've seen. Seriously. And I've seen quite a few movies in my life.

I have played it, my friend has it, but it's not the kind of game I'd be interested in aside from the looks. 3D has absolutely no meaning to me. This coming from a person who has a 3DS. Didn't buy it for 3D.

As for the RE movie series:

I'm pretty sure you're right, but the fact that it does have Resident Evil in the title makes it that much worse for me, and I refuse to see it.

Nice review but isn't he referring to Sienna Guillory (Jill) when he says something like "new character without explanation during end credits" ?
Although she's quite hard to recognize with new hairstyle and all, compared to how she looked in Apocalypse.

the movies ITSELF are not bad at all,amazing graphics
action scenes e.t.c,so i enjoy them has independent films,but the plot

is fuckyng terrible,the first one was pretty god but after that eveything started to turn into crap(resident evil wise)
i mean the characters have nothing to do with the series,and the movies are more close

are completely out of characters,they are nothing a like with their videogame personas

also,the funny thing is,that the producer of the movies achually thinked/thinks
he had a free will to turn the movies into whatever he wanted,but he shouldnt,there is a plot,story to follow
and he did a terrible job in that way,the wowen that plays alice achually thinks that the movies are inspirating/inspired the games

serious trough,if you are looking for a god action movie,see them,they are great
but forget its even called resident evil,because its a joke to call that resident evil

Nah, Afterlife is terrible as a movie in general imo. Even if it didn't have RE in the title, I'd still consider it terrible. And some of the explosions were almost PS1 quality.

i think you are just saying that because you are an resident evil fan
by having a neutral opinion(forgetting that the movies are even related to resident evil series)
you can see a decent movie,with lots of action/god graphics
but a crappy plot

I, as a person who watches a lot of movies and has a pretty big collection of those, think the movie is garbage. It's not just a bad RE movie, it's a horrible movie in general. I think I have a pretty unbiased opinion on things but I just can't stand how badly made that movie is.

I don't really care about a movie if it's only action. The plot and characters are terrible. And what do you mean with graphics? It's a live action movie, and the special effects were terrible. No chris, sorry, but even if I don't think about RE, I still think it's a horrible movie.

meh,they have some cool fight scenes trough

Fight scenes alone don't make a good movie. Besides, all of them used a unnecessary amount of slow motion filming that made them just dull.

btw in afterlife,there were practly no dialogues,serious
the plot was pure garbage,just fighting,matrix moves and nothing made sense in the movie
