Damnation a prelude to RE6?

After watching the exciting Resident Evil 6 C-Virus trailer i recalled talk of an "Eastern Europe incident". I also remembered that the yet to be released CG film Resident Evil: Damnation is set in Eastern Europe (correct me if I'm wrong), this led me to believe that Damnation could possibly be a prelude to Resident Evil 6. I think that Capcom could use that really well in terms of story and maybe introduce the so called son of Wesker character and develop him enough so fans are familiar with him in RE6 and maybe they could do athe same with Sherry (who I'm assuming is Sherry Birken from RE2). Similar to how Tri-Cell were set up in Degeneration. This is just my thoughts and hopes. Waht do you guys think?

Hmmm, I havent thought about it like that, if that's the case then Damnation might come out sooner than we thought.

I would expect Damnation to come out within few months or something, considering first trailers came out like over 1 year ago ?

I think that was obvious from the reveal of Resident Evil 6.

Also, if Leon looks anything like he did in Degeneration I'm not going to like it, cause he looked so retarded.

He looks exactly like in Degeneration, at least on trailer. Emotionless.

Haha, but I could barely see him. I think only for a fraction of a second when he aims his gun at that dude and kills a licker. At any rate I haven't seen the trailer in months.

Thank you a bunch for that! And Eh, he looks so retarded compared to Re4 and Re6 Leon. It also looks like he's wearing Re6 Leon's jacket. Must have spent $1240 on it.

I find his look 'ok' but it just annoys me that he has no facial expressions. He doesn't need to smile like a retard 24/7 but there should be at least something, like when that someone suddenly points a gun at him nothing happens on his face. I would look a bit surprised at least.

I don't know if Leon is really worried on the current outbreaks on RE6. He always had his blank reaction. He still the same

Couldn't agree more. I could barely look at Leon in Degeneration.

To be fair I don't think that Leon gets off on being depressed. I always assumed that he just dosn'et have much to be happy about. It seems like he has a thing for Ada Wong, a woman who he dosn'et even know where to start looking for, I can imagine that he's pretty pissed off about that (also I'm pretty sure that the woman who shall remain nameless in the new RE6 trailer is Ada). If Leon had a girlfriend or a kitten or a hibby or something than I'm sure he might show some emotion (and i do use the word "might" very loosely).

Well according to Degeneration he has a crush on Angela, who's almost nearly as bad as Alice. You can see where I stand on Damnation. Honestly, I think it's gonna suck, but I'm still going to buy it. I'm not expecting much.

Ugh. Leon's got a crush on Angela. Wtf Leon you're surrounded by beautiful ladies. Why won't he choose Ada or Claire, or others. not those Angela or Ashley. I knew he loves Ada. That's why he don't want it get killed. He said he was cue witness. But I was guessing, it's more than that

He looks like he is too tense and paranoid of anyone touching his hair.

The only thing they did to make him look older was make him look
grumpier, but some stubble on and harden his face structure.
