No. Beating the game on professional without taking damage, using health or unlimited ammo, only using your hand gun, and not dying once is a challenge. Although it's really sad that this person needs unlimited ammo on EASY.

But, I agree though. RE5 was my first game and even I was able to get through it on NORMAL with no problems. I think unlimited ammo was unnecessary for re5. Except for the Rocket Launchers. It just makes the game less challenging than it already was.

Try my version. I call it:

RESIDENT EVIL 5: SURVIVAL HORROR EDITION


-Activate the noise filter

-veteran difficulty

-YOU CAN USE NO WEAPONS ASIDE FROM THE INITIAL HANDGUN, WITH NO UPGRADES

-You cant use any herbs. The only herbs you can use will be applied by Sheva. No mixing. If you pick one up you must discard it immediatley, no giving it to Sheva.

-You may only use one bought health spray per chapter. The only life you can use are healthsprays, those found while playing the game. The ones you find dont count in the once a chapter health sprays.

-You can use only three rocket launchers throughout your ENTIRE run. i.e I kill giant village majini, a hoard of lickers, and a gattling majini, I cannot use anymore rocket launchers for the remainder of the game.

Oo no, lol!! I was able to get through the first few chapters on Pro on my own, but I'm still stuck on the section where you have to fight that monster in chapter 2-3. Desperate Escape on Pro is truly a mess. I'll have to find somebody to help me with that too. Not even unlimited ammo can save me.

I beat RE5 on Normal first time. With so many frustrations. :{

Beating RE5 in Normal Mode is Challenging for me, cause Im the only one. I didn't have Co-op. Im glad that I finished it with no Infinite Weapons and Cheats. Although sometimes Sheva is a real pain in the ass when it comes to herbs. But I learned to handle her. Same here, I finished Professional with the help of my Brother.

I think I beat the game 3 times on normal with a random player and 2 of my friends. After that, I beat the other difficulties on my own. Pro is a bitch without online or local help.

Now that was funny. Who the hell uses an unlimited ammo Magnum on Easy mode? Are you that sad of a gamer? Beating easy mode is well... Easy! Normal mode can be difficult by yourself but it's not unmanageable. I've yet to give Professional mode a try though. Not everyone intends to play co-op in a game that was apparently meant for 2-player actions.

Unlimited Rocket Launcher=Cake walk. Seriously. You'll drop that sucker in a single shot. As for DE, you just need a good co op partner who's willing to stick with it for the long haul.

I'm not even sure if I tried Professional on my own with AI Sheva/Chris. And if I did, I must have done horribly. Considering I don't recall and my brain automatically erases such FAIL.

I tried everything. My AI Partner is too much of an idiot to realize anything. Once you get hit it takes them forever to pull out a First Aid, and when your AI partner is right next to you and she's not pulling out the first aid when you're dying, it's really frustrating. Without an actual partner, it's practically unplayable.
