Phoenix and Politics Empty
PostSubject: Phoenix and Politics   Phoenix and Politics EmptyTue Mar 20, 2012 12:37 pm

I am making this thread so Phoenix has somewhere to post about politics and so anyone else who wants to talk to him about politics can take part. That way he doesn't randomly derail threads anymore. So keep the political talk in here, or in PMs.

Do you often think about the possible unforeseen consequences regarding supposed gun rights legislation going through the upper house of your federal deliberative assembly? Razz

Being someone who lived under a dictatorship recently, I'm sure you can understand why some individuals may be concerned with our freedom being taken away by our own governments.

When your trying to point out a serious issue, its very difficult to take you seriously when you mention freedom haters. It just sounds dumb. Thats whats funny. It sounds extremely bias and therefore ridiculous. Try and phrase yourself correctly and maybe just maybe, people wont think that your argument is invalid due to this.

I don't really care, it's just an off-topic discussion here, like most things in the off-topic forum. I imagine Carlos cares though, since he has PMed me about politics in the past.

I'm going to have to agree with you on this. He seemed like a cool person, though I disagree with many of his policies, such as No Child Left Behind and the PATRIOT Act.
