Resident Evil story?

I am totlay new to RE saga and i dont know what is story line for the games.
I search the web and make this timeline:

1998:
Resident Evil 0 (Umbrela Cronicles:Train Derailment)
Resident Evil 1 (Umbrela Cronicles:Mansion Incident)
Resident Evil 2 (Darksite Cronicles:Memories of a Lost City)
*Resident Evil Outbreak File 1
*Resident Evil Outbreak File 2
Resident Evil 3 (Umbrela Cronicles:Raccoon's Destruction)
Resident Evil Code Veronica (Darksite Cronicles:Game of Oblivion)

2002:

Is that correct?

And i wasn't find anything about Sevior series.Are they even connected to main story?

The Survivor series is canon to the main story.

Wait...didn't Capcom say that 6 takes place 10 after the Raccoon City incident, which means that 6 will take place in 2008? If so, then that means that 6 is a prequel to 5.... Neutral

You might also add ORC to the list, though with some conditions, as only a portion of it is canon.

Wasn't this discussed here already? At least I remember talking about this... Anyway, Capcom already stated that they mistakingly announced it was set 10 years after Raccoon Incident and it really takes place 2013.

Umbrella's End and Dark Legacy are included in the "Russian Missions".

You already had those correctly in your original post. Operation Javier and Umbrella's End are exclusive to the Chronicles series so they don't appear in any other games.

Not at the moment, no. And considering that ORC is basically a remake of those games in and of itself, it may never happen.

How do you mean canon to the story?
Are Oubrake and Survival series connected with story with some key moments?

Yes they are all connected. All if not most RE games are canon apart from the handheld ones such as Gaiden, Condfidental report etc

Well I dont really consider it canon as its never really been confirmed as canon, and never really been mentioned in the archives books etc. I dont really see any of the mobile games as canon.

Well, I guess this game is as canon as one wants to think. That's propably what they intended too, as all the locations you visit in that game are new and haven't been visited by other characters from the main series. To me it feels all the more canon now with ORC since the game had government Spec-Ops and USS members running around.

About the mobile games being canon, Revelations definitely is.

Well, I guess this game is as canon as one wants to think. Suppose it is more of a personal choice. Revelations is main series cannon of course. Just wish they had it on a better console. It deserves better. Do you consider Giaden to be canon?
