Started a new LP and decided to plug myself here because shameless self promotion is awesome. Well, actually I just finished the first chapter dying in every possible way as seems to be my habit.
Here's part one, the rest are in a playlist I made for them. See the playlist [here].

The did? Awesome! Is it an official release? Now I don't have to waste time trying to get the untranslated Windows version to work. Can you link me?
Btw. Do you know if they have any plans to import Book of Shadows?

Hello there, I was hoping you could help me with some download links of Corpse Party: Blood Covered Repeated Fear.
I've been looking everywhere I could possibly think of for a download while my boyfriend has been trying to get a PsP emulator to work, but so far I've not been lucky. I finally found your posts where you stated that these games were free to download and you would provide links to the download sites, but all I can on your post is to the site with the download for the ORIGINAL '96 game.
I was hoping you could point me in the right direction to a download for Corpse Party: Blood Covered Repeated fear; the one that was released in North America and Europe, unfortunately as far as I know, this version is just called "Corpse Party," so it's hard to tell if it's specifically CP: Blood Covered or CP: BC Repeated Fear.
Thank you very much for your time, and great Let's Play, by the way.

The free version IS the original game. Or, well, a rebuilt version of it. The only way to get Repeated Fear for free is to emulate it. I recommend JPCSP. Just search for an ISO of the game through google and make sure it's an US version.
Speaking of free, you can also get the fan made prequel, Corpse Party Zero, and a demo of it's rebuild here: [link]
Btw. The regular Blood Covered is basically the same as Repeated fear, only for PC and only released in Japan. I'm not sure if a translated version of that even exists.

We tried JPCSP with about 6 or 7 different downloads of the game, most of them we can get to work, but none of them display any sound for the intro video, and there's either no voice, or it only plays the first half of the spoken sentence, to then cut off the audio. The background music also only plays for a couple of seconds before getting cut off the same way.
Would you happen to know of a download that doesn't have this issue, or a way to fix it? I would be willing to buy the game, if I knew for sure that that made it work, but I've just seen so many people on all the forums I've looked at where people have the exact same problems, so they just wasted 20 dollars.
Thank you very much for your response.

If you buy the game for an actual PSP, you will not have any problems.
Emulating is iffy stuff. While you might get a game to work properly, there could still be parts that don't work as intended. I don't have any background music on when I play, only the dialogue. I suggest you download SonicStage and enable audio decoding with it in the Media part of JPCSP configuration menu.

Thanks for your advice, after tinkering with some of the settings and installing SonicStage we actually got a full dialogue. Background music is still looping every 5 seconds, but the game is actually playable; much more than I expected when we started trying to get it to work.
Thank you very much for your help, we are really looking forward to playing this game.

No problem, happy to help.
I never managed to fix the bgm problem and it does the same looping for me. My suggestion is to just turn it off to save your sanity.

Another bump! Here's the full playlist of the playthrough of -Rebuilt- : [link] I must admit, I'm pretty happy how it turned out. Even managed to find a secret at the ending.
Don't worry Spike, I'll merge this post with the previous one after a while Maybe.
In any case, here's the first part.
This game is the original in the sense that this is a rebuilt version of the original, not to be confused with the remake of a remake I was playing earlier. That was confusing. Honestly, I think only RE can top Corpse Party with the amount of remakes and rereleases of the first game in the series.
