| I remember reading somewhere that these two had a rivarly. Can anyone confirm if this is true ? and if so why were they enemies ? |

| Ah right thanks for the confirmation. It seems kinda strange they were enemies, they from different military fractions in Umbrella. I wonder why they were enemies.
And as for HUNK destroying Nicolai that's probably true. But Nicolai at times in RE 3 seemed to be invincible. He manged to somewhow evade a full army of zombies surrounding and attacking a gas stastion, was albe to somewhow survive an expolsion that happened right in front of him engulfed him in flames then the entire building itself completely destroyed itself in a huge explosion.
Then later was able on foot to get to a zombie ridden hospital jump out of the highest window then quickly made his way back in to trigger a bomb then somewhow survive (up to a certain point) and manoveure around an entire city infested with feroucious zombies, dogs, lickers, drain demos, hunters, spiders and other menaces seemingly only armed with a weak handgun.
I have always wondred how Nicholai managed to survive in RE 3. |

| Hunk gets my vote! Sure the Nemesis is a very fearsome B.O.W but he his priorities, to eliminate Jill Valentine and any other remaining S.T.A.R.S members, but Hunk faced an even bigger threat, William Birkin or G Birkin, which ever you prefer to call him by. Anyone who comes that close to a creature so out of control gets my vote, anyone except for Nicolai. |

| Going against everyone else in this thread, i would say Nicholai. Not because I like him better but because he does appear to have more experience. Like hes pretty badass, wonder if he will make an appearnce in RE6 I doubt but i for some reason feel he will. |

Yes she did but that ending was not canon. I know that now.... I meant that in the retrospective they said that that was nicolai's end |

Nicholai's canonical fate has never been revealed. Capcom seems content to leave it up to the fans' own individual interpretations. There was a file in Survivor signed by him and dated October 6th, but I believe that was only in the English version of the game. |
