| Right as you all know by now I love CV, I have completed the original enough times than I can remember and even sped run it numerous times without having the least bit of trouble, but has any noticed that for some reason this game has been altered in a bad way ? One examples is the first tyrant fight on the plane. the method in the ps2/DC version was to either use the 3 BOW rounds to weaken him to the point where he is limping and then using the crates, but if you had already used them on the first encounter of him on the path leading from the training facility, then you could just use other weapons then run past him, so long as you never got within a foot of him and his devastating combo strike. I used to use that method but now in the HD port the areas are smaller for some reason and it is physically impossible to get past him without getting hit. Also another thing that proves the areas are smaller is that part when you are chris and you need to run into the pool and collect indigo insignia when the albinoid is away from it, now in the original CV the pool is massive, so much so that when the albinoid swims away it actually goes off the camera, but in HD version the pool is smaller and everytime you step in it swims back and rams you before you have even moved a inch. I did do it but it was annoying being hit because of the lack of size. Now comes the worst example, when steve morphs into the tyrant and the door is shutting on you, he cannot be killed so you just need to run for your life but he always gets me ! his sword kills me in two hits even on full health. This also brings me to my next question, why is the characters slower but the enemies faster ? Its okay when its zombies that are coming after you or even hunters (they can be a pain when on cation because of there death leap) but when its a boss like steve running after you and all you need to do is run and he kills you not even half way down the room, then it's a royal pain in the ass, enough that it makes me wish they never should have brought this game out, even though I love CV and the HD graphics and lighting is really glorious. Does anyone have a solution for steve part ? or should I just give up and go back to my good old DC version which I treasure ? |

Actually now that you mentioned that I completely forgot that trick. I will get back to you on that one Mass, My little brother is using the xbox just now to play some Gay'ops but I will try it when the xbox is freed up lol I can say though, that it likely wont work because the enemies are like on a caffeine boost compared from your character but you never know till you have tried. |

| You need A full healing item and a Green herb to succeed. But even then, You need to be at maximum vitality when you get to the 'fight'. Then, just quick turn and run like a madwoman, healing whenever he hits you. WHY THE HELL DOES HE NEED THAT BATTLEAXE?! |

Wouldn't it be just easier to use the going around him trick? |

| Wow, I'm actually considering buying the HD version now. My only complaint for CVX was that I found it too easy, but I keep hearing that the HD version is harder. |

No, the real question is: Why doesn't he need that battle axe? |

Yeah this one is still pretty easy, but it just seems like at parts they have f***ed things up and made parts "near to impossible" to get past. Should get it, it looks pretty nice and is nice to be challenged from this port |

The tyrant on the plane and the steve tyrant has actually had me tearing my hair and had me rage quieting on it that is a first for me on a resident evil game. I am really dreading Alexia lol |

| The first time i ever did the tyrant on the plane i was tearing my hair out (this was on PS2) I went to bed, then got up and kicked his ass first time. Sometimes you just need to step away for a minute |

I am really dreading Alexia lol You'll want the sweet embrace of death if you don't have; Magnum with Ammunition. Explosive Crossbow Rounds. Grenade Launcher with Explosive Rounds. Seriously, bring all that PLUS some herbs. You'll shed manly tears when you see all the crap that Alexia throws at you. |

We use them around here, u know. And no, I'm still waiting for the retail versions to arrive. If there is none by the time of ORC I'm not going to expect them ever getting released. |
