Resident Evil "Revival Selection" Announced

Resi 4 and code Veronica are coming out for PSN and XBL this year with trophy/achievment support. This will be getting a download.

So the downloadable thing is going to be the same HD remastered version?

None. I'm good with the RE4 I already have. The remastering in CV is what interests me the most in this.

Yesterday we brought you word that both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X would see the high-definition light of day on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as part of the Resident Evil: Revival Selection collection in Japan. Well, today Capcom has confirmed that both of the titles will separately hit Microsoft and Sony’s platforms in North America by way of digital distribution and are on track to be released this fall

So fall for you lucky American's....hopefully not to long afterwards for us Brits.

It usually doesn't take too long for games to be brought to Europe after the US release. The most time usually takes for the games to come out from Japan.

here in the philippines it will take a long time.. maybe a year.. the US release is what we're waiting for

I actually feel as if capcom are starting to turn a new leaf and giving us oldskoolers
what we want

now all we need is RE2 and RE3, but would prefer RE2 getting a whole remake I mean like take so much time on it and make it perfect

3 is actually the greatest for me.. and i don't think there should be other changes since the graphics looks great.. but RE2 needs a whole makeover as well as RE1 and turn it into RE3 style.. with dodges and gunpowder...

I don't know why RE4, but CVX definately deserves it. I wonder what it's going to look like, some images would be cool.

@Ace, I hated the dodging, and the gunpowder was whatever to me.

The dodging though, it seemed so random, I usually did it by accident. I think the way RE4 implimented the dodging, surely just improving on RE3's was a great improvement. It would be cool if they had it for any enemy though, not just dodging boss strikes.

In some of the earlier RE5 trailers, it looked like they were going to do that, have it so that you could dodge, possibly like RE3. I remembered seeing Chris ducking down to avoid a majini going for Chris' head...IDK.

re3 dodging is strategic, it's never random, if you do it on accident it's probably because you aim while the enemy is about to attack you, it's very easy to dodge hunters and drain demons because they're really fast that aiming and enemy attacking takes the same time.
nemesis dodging is really hard but learning it is great and if you master all his attacks and all the areas where you fight him, you'll probably get all the items he drops without a single punch..

but i conclude that the RE3 dodging is the greatest challenge for every gamer there is..
