| yesterday I finished RE3 on psx after a long time ("you want STARS? I'll give you STARS") and I realized that I got the HUNK epilogue, which I didn't even know it existed... so I looked up at all the RE3 epilogues... and there are some things that this game puts together that I thought it was the work of the chronicles, for example: HUNK'S face and the Mr. Death nickname, Leon joining the US goverment, Sherry under the goverment custody, showing Ada's Tyrant scar and stating that she's still alive, etc... |

| Yeah, RE3 had some awesome stuff... Haven't played my copy yet though, still struggling with the rerun on RE2 with my computer. My comp seems to hate the game. |

| Double post. Use the edit button next time. Are those the last know games each character was in? Seems so. But if it is, then Chris=RE5. |

There are 8 Epilogues, Chris, Claire, Leon, Ada, Jill, HUNK, Sherry, & Barry. And yes, they tied up lots of cool little plot areas. Some have shown up in the series since then. Leon, with his government ties, as well as the interogation scene, that showed up in Darkside Chronicles. |

You have to beat the game on Hard mode to unlock a single one, there are 8 of them, do the math. I had to do it twice, and I'm still mad about it. I did it all once, and then my GC memory got messed up, so another 8. That's at least 16 times that I've completed RE3, I was tired of it...not to mention the times I've gone back and played for fun, I think it's probably near 20, not that I should be proud of that. |

The most impressive thing I can say I did in RE3, was not the number of times completed, but the fact that I beat Mercs with Nicholai, and if you've played that, you'll know why. Carlos & Mikhail are both relatively easy, but Nicholai is a real challenge. |

Mikhail was such fun i used to bed the game to spawn nemesis in a certain part it was quite fun to fight him. oooo and congrats on that |

Thanks. In case anybody reading this hasn't played RE3 Mercs as Nicholai, he gets a combat knife(which sucks), and a pistol with only 15 rounds, no more, no less. You also get three medical items that heal you completely, but you'll find out quick that it doesn't help much. |

The only RE game I've played that had a useful knife, that could legitimately take down enemies, even groups, was in CVX. Much like Nicholai's run in RE3 Mercs, CVX's Battle Game required you to use Wesker, with a knife, but no pistol or anything, just a knife. When you fight Alexia at the end, if you didn't pick up the magnum in the slot machine, I imagine you probably won't be completing his run... |

How fun was it taking out hunters with a knife lol. |

There's actually a RE game where the knife is worth something? Actually the only RE I've played that made the knife useful was RECR. |

Actually the only RE I've played that made the knife useful was RECR. RECR? RE4 & RE5, and REDS, implimenting the knife as a quick thing that doesn't take up space also could count as useful I guess. |

RE4 & RE5, and REDS, implimenting the knife as a quick thing that doesn't take up space also could count as useful I guess. Confidential Report. The quick knife was a good idea, no ammo wasted on boxes etc. but the damage it does is just crappy. I wish that in RE5 you would've been able to switch the knife to the stun rod. |
