New REs in third person

I have an question: if Capcom decides to make another RE in third person just like the first ones will you think it would be right or wrong??

Personally, I have a mixed opinion, It would feel right to play a new RE old style, but the gameplay advanced too much in RE4, 5, and Revelations that turning back would feel like Capcom just gave up...

yes, that it why I speciffied "third personlike the firsts ones", you know RE1, 2, 3, etc. with another camera perspective rather than a over the shoulder one

Yup. I tried to teach my brother how to play Resident Evil 2 and he died because he couldn't control Leon with the camera angle always switching around. And he didn't know that you have to hold down a button to ready a weapon, so you can shoot it.

Anyway, it does look like the over the shoulder angle is here to stay. It'd be awesome if the game designers could have you change the camera settings based on personal preference, though. Then there's no more debates between fans about it and there's no backlash on their end. Sort of like how you can switch LiN to traditional fixed-camera angles if you want.

They won't give us a choice either. Fixed camera angles are hard to do. They have to decide where to put the cameras and go through testing it to make sure it works and probably even have to give up certain floor plans because they don't mesh with the fixed camera style. It was only done in LiN because LiN was so short. They won't do a full game with it anymore.

And LiN was kind of an homage to the older games. A nice one at that, I might add.

Yeah, its just like Resident evil: Code Veronica X's minigame after completing the game. It lets you choose between first person and third person. They should have that from now on!!

i dont know why every one hates the new style i personaly like it a lot better dont get me wrong if any game could pull of that camera angle from the old re's it would be only re but i like the new view and im extremely glad its probably here to stay
