Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition?

"During Sony's Press Conference during Tokyo Game Show 2009, Capcom announced that a Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition would be released in Japan in Spring 2010 for PlayStation 3. The new version will use the PlayStation Motion Controller and a brand new campaign featuring Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine."

I hope it comes to America too!

Yes indeed. It was actually let slip by Jill's voice actress I think. I don't think they wanted to actually announce it yet lol.

Um, actually it was originally set ONLY to PS3, and then later confirmed for Xbox 360.

I think im going to buy it You know since it should have alternative costumes and an extra mercs mode and 2 new episodes...i really can't wait. Oh im a PS3 btw.

I am really looking forward to this new DLC. Jill is my favourite Resident Evil character, and i'm so pleased that both the 2 new episodes feature Jill.
Also Mercenaries reunion sounds like we might get some classic characters added, i'm not sure if this will turn out true, but Leon and Claire might show up.
So far the new outfits for the characters look cool, Chris looks even more bad ass and Sheva looks so sexy in that fairytale and buisness outfit.
I can't wait to see what Jill and Josh will get.

On Thursday i'm starting up Resident Evil 5 again on the Xbox 360 to start getting prepared for the DLC. I'll be playing it for quite some time, so if anyone would like to go through again, i'll be sending my gamertag here on Thursday.

Also if anyone is thinking of buying Lost Planet 2 when it comes out, please add me to your friends list, cause that is one of my most wanted games for 2010.

Sorry i can't send my gamertag yet, i'm going to be changing it on Thursday to something Resident Evil like, so there's no point.

finally!!! the only thing that's been keeping me from playing RE5 was the inability to dress my character as a creepy leather-daddy Very Happy

Yeah, it will be nice to play as Chris' real partner.

It would be cool if we could play as Jill in her 'bird mask' disguise as an alternate outfit too.

from what I have been ready this game is simply a ploy to make more money off of content that should have been in the original. But oh well I'll be happy to fork over the dough for extra's like costumes,merc characters and chris and jill
