Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this. There's the map of the London Underground railway on the wall in the RE1 REmake. It's when you first meet Lisa Trevor just before the cut-scene where she knocks you out.

Hadn't noticed, mostly because I've never seen a map of London's subway tunnels.

The map is iconic. They sell it on all kinds of souvenirs so the developers in Japan are likely to have been familiar with it. Maybe one of the artists put it there to see if anyone would notice.
