Resident Evil 7 Speculation

With E3 right around the corner my anticipation of Capcoms presentation is through the roof! I had to make a speculation video to talk about possibilities and what i would like to see. This is a topic that VERY MUCH relies on everyone's feedback both in the comment section and here. Thoughts?

I can safely assume this isn't gonna be the new logo.

No most definitely not lol. This logo is older than the rumor, but it looks nice for a thumbnail.

Zombies, a previously used parasite-based enemy, a mixture of old and new BOW's, and a new "Ultimate" BOW... called Tyrant or something.

I want to see mostly zombies, with later enemies being BOW's of any given variety. I'm oldschool like that. I really hope they got something brilliant up their sleeve! We will know very soon! about 10 more days guys!

Best LoL i've had in awhile!. As for me i like the idea of multiple infections. Like RE6 or RE: Rev2, it allows for more variety in gameplay.
A mix of old school zombies and newer, smarter, more deadly enemies would be perfect. Maybe a plant or fungus based threat.

You know that's a really good idea. Of course, now it would be just accused of imitating Last of Us but they have toyed with the idea of plant based threats before. Biohazard Dash was supposed to have plant type enemies and in Outbreak File#2 we had a scenario with mainly plant and bug creatures. It would be really cool to have thiskind of idea used in a new game.

Well, we did have Plant Monsters in the Labs below Raccoon City...
And Plant 42...and that asshole with the Axe...and his wife...

But we haven't had a game focused on plant creatures. We have already had one with mostly sea creatures (Revelations) so it would be really neat seeing them try something fresh.

I meant out of the RE series, obviously.

Shouldn't we be making a list of all the possible antagonists? If RE7 has a recurring character as an antagonist, we'll be able to locate said character and find out exactly what creatures may be in the new game.

Dr. Cameron (not gonna happen), Nicholai (not gonna happen), Ezra Sennet (his fate was left ambiguous but not gonna happen), the Simmons family (in case Derek wasn't the last), Neo Umbrella (in case it was not disbanded), Alex Wesker or one of the many pharmaceutical and military corporations battling for Umbrella and its successors' remains in Umbrella Corps.

Yet not one that actually kept them as main focus. In RE1 it was one boss and in RE2 it was one enemy type we barely saw. The closest we have come is Flashback from Outbreak but that was still only one chapter. Like I said, it would be nice to see a game where the main threat would be botanic.

We also had the V Complex plant, which turned out to be quite embarrassing. But why on earth would you want the main threat to be botanic? They were going to do that with Biohazard Dash but thankfully they saw sense and scrapped it.

We've had enough of all that rubbish. No more leeches, no more queen ants, no more parasitic whales, robot Salazar's, Lord of the Rings cave trolls etc etc. Just give us a genuinely interesting all-new antagonist with a unique goal that is not taking over the world, or destroying the world, ruling over humans as a god, or causing bioterrorism just to show the world how dangerous bioterrorism is.

My plot idea had Dr. Cameron going against just about everything and their mothers in a bout that was half revenge and half bat-shit insanity.
