For those who played Resident Evil Revelations 1 how many people actually called the third ship Queen Dildo instead of Queen Dido?

Such a... strange question. No, I never did. The only thing I ever connected the name "Dido" in my head was the singer.

Then again, admittedly, I did call Bilbo Baggins "Dildo Baggins" back when LotR movies where the hype. I still do, now that I think about it.

That is just how I pronounced it sometimes. Because I stayed up late when I was playing this game and tried to remember Zapdos, but I called it Valtros (Veltro + Zapdos).

I'm referring to the OP.

Although I would have expected basic reading as taught in kindergarten to emphasize that D and T are sounded differently...

In theory, sure. In practice it's pretty common for t to sound similar to d. Just listen merriam-webster's pronunciations of "better" and "bedder". They both sound like they have d's in the middle.
